The chiraag of the Kapoor khandaan, Ranbir Kapoor, not only shares an emotional bond with his parents, but the camaraderie he shares with his sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is also adorable. We all know that Ranbir is dating Alia Bhatt and it was his sister, Riddhima who approved his relationship with the Student of The Year actress. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Riddhima once quoted, “I am happy if my brother is happy, and I am a very happy sister.”
On January 19, 2020, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared pictures of her brother, Ranbir Kapoor, mother, Neetu Kapoor and daughter, Samara Sahni from their fam-jam moments. In one of the pictures, Riddhima was seen posing with her brother, dressed in a black jacket, denim and cap. Ranbir looked dapper as he twinned in black with his sister, Riddhima. In the second picture, Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima’s daughter, Samara joined them along with their pet pooch, Killian. On January 20, 2020, Neetu Kapoor took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture with her granddaughter, Samara and their pet pooch. Along with the picture, she wrote, “Our new joy Killian Sahni.”
On October 28, 2019, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni had taken to her Instagram stories and had shared a Diwali selfie with her mother, Neetu Kapoor and brother, Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir had donned a casual look with a denim shirt, Neetu Kapoor had opted for a red kurta and Riddhima was seen in a black coloured top. The heart-melting selfie was clicked by Riddhima, who had also captioned the picture as “Mine”. On April 10, 2019, Riddhima had taken to her Instagram stories and shared a collage that had her and Ranbir’s picture, wearing specs. The uncanny resemblance of this brother-sister duo could be clearly seen in the snap. Atop the collage, Riddhima had written, “Same same but different! #worldsiblingsday” followed by a wink emoji.
Ranbir Kapoor has been in the news for his love life. The actor is dating Alia Bhatt and the duo has openly admitted of being madly-in-love with each other. In an interview with BollywoodLife, Ranbir had opened about love and had stated, “I think every human being does extraordinary things only when they are in love. So I believe that love is something which is a privilege if it comes in your life and to be in a happy, beautiful positive place in a relationship with, it could be with a girl, a guy, with a friend, your mother, your father, or anybody but when there is some genuine love, it’s really beautiful.”
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Riddhima had shared why she has stayed away from the showbiz business. The 38-year-old jewellery designer was quoted as saying, “I was not interested. I am very old now, but even when I had the chance, I was always inclined towards my creative side, and fashion, jewellery, etc. My parents never pressurized me (to become an actor), they always supported what I wanted to do, be it getting into the fashion business, or getting married in Delhi despite being a Mumbai girl.
