Ever since Alia Bhatt's 'crush', Ranbir Kapoor became her 'beau', there isn't an occasion, festival, birthdays or anniversaries that the Bhatts and Kapoors don't celebrate together. The Kapoor and the Bhatt families now seem to be one big happy family and for them, it seems like the celebrations are incomplete if not with each other.
When Alia Bhatt had turned 28 in March 2021 and her beau, Ranbir Kapoor was under quarantine as he tested COVID-19 positive, 'the most important women' in her life came together to celebrate the actress' special day. Alia celebrated her birthday with her mother, Soni Razdan, sister, Shaheen Bhatt, future mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor, Grish and makeup artist, Puneet B Saini. Alia had posted an IG story from her birthday celebrations with the caption, "the most important women in my life…" followed by heart emojis.
Soni Razdan's father and Alia Bhatt's maternal grandfather, Narendra Nath Razdan turned 93 on June 16, 2021, and the Bhatts and the Kapoors came together to celebrate the milestone. Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Ranbir Kapoor and Samara Sahni joined Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt and Alia Bhatt for Mr Razdan's birthday celebrations. In one of the pictures posted by Riddhima, Ranbir can be seen photobombing her selfie with the birthday boy. Alia posted a lovely picture with her gramps to wish him on his birthday and called him her inspiration.
Shaheen Bhatt posted a throwback picture of her grandfather, flashing his charming smile in a suited and booted look. She also posted a selfie with Alia and their grandfather as the trio happily posed for the picture. Shaheen captioned the post as "Happy 93rd birthday to my most favourite face in all this world."
To wish her father, Narendra Nath Razdan, Soni Razdan posted a throwback picture of her daddy with the caption, "Daddy has turned 93 years young today! The best story teller to children in the world... he used to make them up as he went along... and we even had a series called Neelam and Gagan... which he regaled my sis and me with in weekly instalments; a prolific badminton and snooker player in the olden days; a good bridge player and now an avid golfer (yes he still plays) apart from being an architect who still practices!"
Revealing that many of the talents they possess in the family are given by him, Soni Razdan continued, "(Designed Chitrakoot and Woodlands) the list is endless and so is his boundless energy, enthusiasm and ability to tell the most hilarious jokes with full character renditions. Many of the talents we possess in the family we get from him. Happy Birthday darling daddy. You make us all proud." Neetu Kapoor commented on the post, "Happy birthday to him" followed by a heart emoji.
Here's wishing a belated happy birthday to Mr Razdan!
