Actor, Anil Kapoor's younger daughter and the boss lady of Bollywood, Rhea Kapoor's wedding with her then-boyfriend, Karan Boolani was an intimate affair. However, despite their decision to keep it close-knit, the rumours of their wedding had broken out a day before the festivity. And since then, Rhea and Karan are hitting the headlines.
On August 17, 2021, Rhea Kapoor had taken to her IG handle and had dropped three pictures from their private wedding ceremony. Along with the pictures, Rhea had thanked everyone for making her wish of having a 'living room' wedding possible. She had written, "I wanted to run away and get married in my living room. Thank you for making that possible."

As Rhea and Karan's wedding was devoid of their friends from the industry, the newlyweds sent a special card across the industry, announcing their wedding and explaining why they couldn't have too many guests. Actor, Jackie Shroff's wife and Tiger Shroff's mother, Ayesha Shroff, took to her IG stories to share a glimpse of their wedding card that explained why they had not inviting too many people from the industry.
Ayesha Shroff gave the newlyweds her blessings. The card can be read as "Elated to announce that on 14.08.21, Karan and Rhea were married in a small ceremony at home. The circumstances of our time prevented us from having many of our loved ones with us. We deeply missed having you all there but you were in our hearts. As Rhea and Karan start their new life together, we ask for only your blessings and love for their journey forward. We hope to celebrate with you all soon as the world returns to normal.”

On August 16, 2021, Rhea Kapoor's husband, Karan Boolani, had taken to his IG handle and had posted the first glimpse from their intimate wedding ceremony. Sharing the picture, he had written, "Yesterday we made it official to the world… but you and I have been ride or die for over a decade and for that, I would like to thank four people who have given me a crazy amount of love, respect, encouragement and constant collaboration."
Going further in his heartfelt note, Karan had shared how Rhea takes up multiple responsibilities like a pro. He had added, "First is a film producer, the second is a fashion stylist… the third is the mother of my daughter lemon, and the fourth is the finest cook to have performed miracles in a domestic kitchen..and their names are Rhea Kapoor. To the best decision, I’ve ever made. Here's to us and everything that awaits us together."
