Bollywood actress, Raveena Tandon was one of the most successful actresses of the 90s. The diva can still give any contemporary actress a run for their money with her enchanting looks. Raveena, who was last seen in the film, One Friday Night, recently revealed that she had a ‘no-kissing policy’ throughout her career. On the personal front, the actress is married to businessman, Anil Thadani, and the duo is blessed with two kids, Rasha and Ranbirvardhan.
In a recent interview with Lehren Retro, Raveena Tandon was asked about the reason behind her not kissing on screens. Responding to the same, the actress shared that she always said 'No' to the scenes that made her uncomfortable on screen. She also mentioned that there were no contracts about doing scenes in a film earlier and added:
“Those days there were no contracts or anything. But I never did. I was not comfortable.”

Speaking along the same lines, Raveena recalled an uncomfortable incident while shooting a film back then, wherein she had to do a little rough handling scene with a male actor. She shared that she faced a moment when she had a slight lip brush with the actor, which made her feel uncomfortable and nauseous. Since it all happened unintentionally, the actor also apologised to Raveena. In her words:
“I remember I was doing a little rough handling scene with a male actor and I remember by mistake his lips just brushed my lips. It was by mistake, it was not even required. Like in that whole frenzy, it was a mistake. I went to my room and threw up because I was so not comfortable. The shot got over and I went up and I had nausea. I could not bear it. I was like ‘yuck no. Please brush your teeth, wash your mouth a hundred times.’”
Raveena’s daughter, Rasha Thadani is all set to follow in her mommy's footsteps and make her Bollywood debut soon. When the actress was asked about Rasha's preferences for doing intimate scenes on screen, Raveena gave a beautiful response. She shared that it depends on the fact if Rasha is comfortable or not and added:
“Again it depends. If she is comfortable doing it with someone, then why not. If she is not comfortable, nobody should have the power to force her to do anything that she does not want to do.”

Well, this is not the first time when Raveena Tandon talked about her restrictions about doing certain scenes in films. Earlier, in an interview with ANI, Raveena had opened up about the same and shared that she was the only actress who had a couple of rape scenes in films and that too without even one tear in the dress. She was quoted as saying:
“I didn’t want to wear swimming costumes, and I didn’t do kissing scenes. So I had my fundas. I was the only actress who had a couple of rape scenes with not even one tear in the dress. All my clothes used to be fully intact.”
On the work front, Raveena Tandon will be next seen in the film, Ghudchadi.
