Rani Mukerji will be turning a year older on March 21, 2024. Ahead of that, she was seen cutting two scrumptious cakes along with the paparazzo. However, it was one of her fashion statements that gave mommy goals. For the unversed, Rani got hitched to the love of her life, Aditya Chopra on April 21, 2014. Afterwards, they embraced parenthood on December 9, 2015, with the birth of their baby girl, Adira. But Rani and Aditya have opted for a strict no-picture policy for their daughter, for which hardly there are any photos of the little girl on social media.
On March 20, 2024, Rani Mukerji was papped cutting two cakes along with the paparazzi ahead of her 45th birthday. She looked stunning for the day in a white-hued flowy gown that featured collars and wide sleeves. Rani teamed her look with subtle makeup, including blushed cheeks and nude lipstick. Moreover, she kept her hair open to add oomph to her overall look. However, it was her neckpiece that remained unmissable. A multi-layered pearl necklace was styled along a sleek chain that featured her daughter, Adira's name. Well, it indeed gave pure fashion goals for all the mommies out there.

Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Rani Mukerji opened up about the time when she gave birth to her and Aditya Chopra's daughter, Adira. The actress mentioned that she was then completely immersed in her motherhood job. And it was only when her husband pushed her to get back to films. She mentioned that Aditya reminded her about the actress' massive audience, who had been waiting for her comeback on the screens. She mentioned:
"So I was so completely immersed in my role of motherhood that my husband nodded and nudged me and said 'Hello, you are Rani Mukerji you need to go back to the arch lights. You can't do this. Your child is born. She will grow up. She will have her own life. But you cannot forget who you are. You fans are waiting for you so you need to go back to work."
Following her husband and ace filmmaker, Aditya's words, Rani then worked for the film, Hichki. At that time, Rani mentioned that Adira was just 14 months old, and it was her return to work. Then, she also appeared in the 2021 comedy crime drama, Bunty Aur Babli 2, co-starring Saif Ali Khan, Sharvari Wagh and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Thus, she advised all the women to focus on their work despite embracing motherhood. She also talked about how she 'shattered' many societal beliefs, and highlighted the success of her film, Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway.

When Rani graced episode 6 of Koffee with Karan season 8, she opened up about keeping her daughter, Adira away from the public eye. She explained how her successful efforts to protect Adira from the media, despite the presence of paparazzi, was possible with only an endearing look of her. The actress mentioned that she initially asks the paps not to click Adira's pictures, and then they get scared after looking into her fierce eyes.
