Karan Johar is currently beaming with joy as his recently released movie, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani received much success. As per the reports till now, the epic love story has made Rs. 70 crores at the box office. However, recently in a press conference, Karan Johar was seen thanking his fans and audience. Moreover, he also shared a few details about Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's wedding day, which has some connection with 'Rani' and 'Rocky's marriage in the movie, RARKPK.

Karan Johar recently revealed that Alia's wedding with Ranbir Kapoor happened four days after she got married in reel-life. The filmmaker also revealed that the mehendi that 'Rani' aka, Alia, could be seen wearing in the movie was actually the same mehendi from her wedding with Ranbir. In a video that is going rounds on social media, Karan can be heard saying:
“Alia aur Ranbir ki shaadi hui thi aur chaar din baad we were shooting our sequence with Ranveer and Alia. So in that week, Alia Bhatt got married twice, one in real life and one in reel life. And the mehndi that Alia Bhatt’s character has in the scene is the same mehndi that she had in her wedding celebrations with Ranbir Kapoor. We just darkened it. And we shot that song ‘Kudmayi’ in Jaisalmer and Vaibhavi Merchant picturised it beautifully."

Further in the note, Alia also revealed that it was her daughter, Raha's trip to Kashmir, and seeing mountains through her eyes was simply special for her.

For the unversed, Alia Bhatt's wedding mehendi was done by Mumbai-based celeb artist, Jyoti Chedda. A close source told Pinkvilla that Alia herself opted for the mehendi design on her wedding, and she wanted a design that was classy and understated. The source also revealed that Alia's mehendi was minimal and was adorned with several symbols such as infinity, jersey number 8, which is Ranbir's lucky number, and the letter 'R'.
