Ram Charan is considered to be one of the highest-paid actors in the South Indian film industry. On the personal front, the actor and his wife, Upasana Kamineni recently embraced parenthood with the arrival of their baby girl, Klin Kaara Konidela into their lives on June 20, 2023. Recently, Ram Charan was spotted in Mumbai as he visited the Siddhivinayak temple, amid the ongoing chatter about him signing a Bollywood project with filmmaker, Rajkumar Hirani.
According to a report by 123Telugu, a source close to Ram Charan revealed that the actor is not going to work in Rajkumar Hirani's next film. Denying all the ongoing reports, the source added that the director is busy with his other projects and even stated that Ram Charan's visit to Mumbai was for personal reasons. The source mentioned:
“No, Ram Charan has not signed his next Bollywood project. Charan collaborating with Hirani for his next is mere speculation. At the moment, Hirani is too occupied with completing his next film Dunki with Shah Rukh Khan, and we all know he as a filmmaker doesn’t rush into projects. He will only think about his next project after Dunki is released in December. Regional actors are coming to Mumbai often now for meetings with casting agents and their publicists as they are interested in a crossover. But this buzz has no concrete base”.

Meanwhile, another source also confirmed the news and revealed that Ram Charan is not signing a Bollywood project yet. Sharing the reason behind the same, the source added that the actor is currently busy fulfilling his daddy duties with his baby girl, Klin Kaara and would like to spend some more time with her. The source said:
“There is no news Ram Charan signing a Bollywood project. He is busy with the work that he has at the moment on his plate. Also, he just had his daughter so he wants to spend more time with her and take it slow with the work.”
Further talking about Ram Charan's trip to Mumbai, another source told the publication that it was a personal visit for the actor and was not related to work. Adding that the actor wanted to offer his prayers to Ayyappa in Mumbai, the source stated that Ram wore a black kurta and was walking barefoot as it was his first visit after the birth of his daughter, Klin Kaara. The source added:
“Ram Charan, who is a devoted Ayyappa follower, came to Mumbai to conclude his Ayyappa Deeksha at the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. It was his first after having his daughter Klin Kaara, which is why he wanted to conclude it in Mumbai. And it is the reason he wore black kurta and was walking bare feet. In fact, it also coincided with the time his daughter came to their home from her nani’s place. So, it was a special occasion for him. And he kept the visit personal, instead of thinking about work at that moment."

It was on June 30, 2023, when Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni delighted their massive fan base by announcing the name of their little one. Taking to her IG handle, Upasana dropped some adorable glimpses from her daughter’s traditional cradle and naming ceremony. In the picture, the baby girl was seen sleeping peacefully as her parents and grandparents surrounded her. Along with it, Upasana penned a beautiful note to announce her daughter’s name as Klin Kaara Konidela, chosen from the Lalitha Sahasranamam, which is a sacred Hindu text from the Brahmanda Purana.
