From opening up about her mother's curse of death to not being allowed at her father's funeral, Rakhi Sawant shared some hidden truths about her life and journey in the entertainment industry.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Rakhi Sawant opened up about a lot of internal things about her family. The actress shockingly recalled the incident when her mother, Jaya Bheda, had cursed her of dying the moment she was born. Revealing the reason behind her mother's disheartening statement, Rakhi stated that it had happened after her mom got to know about her and Mika Singh's kiss controversy. She said, "There was a time when my mother told me, 'What is this, your controversies? I wish you died the moment you were born.' This happened after my family turned on my mother, after my incident with Mika Singh."
Going further in her interview, Rakhi Sawant also revealed that she is often titled as a 'bad influence' in her own family. However, the actress clearly stated that if her father was alive today, he would surely be proud of her and the things she has achieved in the industry without being a star kid.
Rakhi Sawant explained, "Today, my father will be proud of me... Thank God I took this decision because I have become what I am today. My family doesn't accept me, till today. They don't talk to my mom. My uncle, my entire family. They think that because I ran away, their daughters will also run away."
For the unversed, it was in 2006, when Rakhi Sawant and Mika Singh were talk of the town after their kiss controversy on the latter's birthday. The popular singer had forcibly kissed the actress during his birthday party in front of everyone. After which, Rakhi had reportedly filed a case of molestation against Mika. However, on the flip side of the story, Mika Singh had said that Rakhi had kissed him first. Thus, after some time, the heat had settled down, and the case had died long back.
Rakhi Sawant was the fourth runner-up in the reality television show, Bigg Boss 14.
