Rahul Vaidya Reveals Daughter Wore Her 1st Jewellery On Diwali, Adds 'I Touch My Daughter's Feet...'

In a recent interview, Rahul Vaidya shared some unknown anecdotes from his and Disha Parmar's Diwali celebration with their newborn daughter, and it was simply unmissable.

One of the most loved couples in the telly town, Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya are enjoying every moment of their lives with their baby girl. For the unversed, they embraced parenthood for the first time with the arrival of their first child on September 20, 2023. And recently, they celebrated their first Diwali with their one-and-a-half-month-old daughter. Undoubtedly, they delighted their massive fanbase with cutesy glimpses from the same. Now, Rahul opened up about some more unknown anecdotes from the same celebration. 

Rahul Vaidya reveals his daughter wore her first jewellery gifted by his parents

In an interview with the ETimes, Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya expressed their joy in celebrating the festival with their one-and-a-half-month-old baby girl. Giving an insight into the festivities, Rahul shared that Diwali was more special, as this time, they could celebrate it with their princess. Moreover, the doting daddy revealed how his daughter was decked up in a peach-hued dress and also wore her first jewellery gifted by his parents. In Rahul's words:

"We welcomed our Lakshmiji during Ganeshotsav and now we celebrated another festival with her. Everything just gets more special when she's with us. She was looking very cute dressed in a peach frock. She wore her first jewellery gifted by her grandparents."

Rahul shares he touched his daughter's feet as she is their 'ghar ki Lakshmi'

Further, in the same conversation, the singer shared that when the Vaidya family was doing aarti, his daughter was noticing every detail around her. Rahul also mentioned that this Diwali was also special as his mother could hold her granddaughter in her arms. Moreover, being thankful to God for the same, Rahul mentioned that he even touched his daughter's feet. Rahul added:

"When we did Aarti, she was continuously looking at the thali and diya and trying to understand things around her. It wasn't just special for us, but even for my mother to hold her granddaughter during pooja and experience joy. It was a wholesome Diwali for us with our daughter. We are very thankful to God for this gift to us and even I touch my daughter's feet as she's ghar ki Lakshmi."

When Disha shared Rahul's cutesy picture with their newborn daughter

On September 25, 2023, Disha took to her IG handle and shared a cutesy picture of her husband, Rahul Vaidya with their newborn daughter from the hospital. The picture also featured the doting daddy fondly staring at his baby girl. Although the baby girl's face was covered with a flower sticker, but she looked cute in a white-hued, anchor-printed onesie and a green cap. Alongside the picture, Disha penned a note to reveal that the picture was clicked at midnight as Rahul celebrated his first birthday as a dad in the hospital. Sharing it, Disha had written:

"A little too late to the party.. But this picture has a thousand emotions! Clicked at 12 .. celebrating your 1st bday as a DAD in the hospital and look at that face of yours!!! I hope your happiness only grows & your face shines just like this.. Always & Forever! I Love you beyond words."

When Rahul shared that he and Disha didn't plan their pregnancy

Earlier, in an interview with the ETimes, Rahul had talked about their unplanned pregnancy. He shared how they also were unaware of the fact that their little girl would come into their lives during Ganesh puja. Calling his baby girl the best gift, Rahul had said:

"We never planned the pregnancy and we didn't know she would be born during Ganeshotsav, and that she would come home on September 23, my birthday. My baby is the best gift I could have ever wanted in life."
