According to a source closer to the actress, Priyanka would be staying in Mumbai for a few more days, and would not be returning to LA soon. As a result, it can be speculated that she might end up missing Karwa Chauth this year with her hubby. Revealing probable prospects about the diva bagging a film by Vishal Bhardwaj to be another reason behind the same, the source mentioned:
“Priyanka might not be going to LA anytime sooner, but only in the first week of November. The desi girl is keeping her whereabouts very hush-hush as reports claim she has signed a film with director Vishal Bharadwaj. Priyanka has a few meetings lined up, and she will have to finish them earlier. The actress cannot travel every now and then as she has daughter Malti's responsibility, and hence she chose to give the Karwa Chauth celebration a miss with husband Nick Jonas. Nick is a doting husband, and not even a bit an ounce he questions his wife's decision as he adores how beautifully she handles work with Malti.”

Furthermore, the source further mentioned that despite several possibilities of Priyanka Chopra being away from Nick this Karwa Chauth, nevertheless, she wouldn’t skip to fast on the auspicious occasion, as she considers it an important ritual for her culture. The source revealed:
“Priyanka may not celebrate the festival with her husband, but she will definitely hold the fast for the day as it's significant in their culture. Priyanka Chopra is a desi girl at heart and will always be.”
Back on October 29, 2023, Priyanka Chopra made another of her stunning appearances at the Jio MAMI Film Festival, being hosted at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai. For the special event, the diva chose to channel her desi avatar and wore a beautiful white-hued floral printed saree. She teamed it with a matching sleeveless blouse. Open tresses, red lipstick, glam makeup and an exquisite diamond neckpiece with a blue sapphire pendant amped her look.

Back on October 27, 2023, Priyanka Chopra took to her IG handle and dropped a bunch of snapshots of her oh-so-glam look, as she got all dolled up for the opening night of the much-awaited Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. She donned a white-coloured body-hugging gown from the fall winter 2023/24 collection of Tony Ward Couture. The turtleneck gown featured frill detail and golden glittery work all over it.
