Pearl V Puri has been basking in the success of his debut film, Yaariyan 2. His role in the film has been loved by his millions of fan following. The actor kickstarted his acting journey with television, and he was also seen in the show, Naagin 3. However, in 2021, Pear V Puri went through a rough patch after he was accused of molesting a minor girl, and he had to face arrest for 11 days in the same matter.
Recently, in an interaction with Siddharth Kanan for his show, Pearl V Puri opened up about the toughest phase of his life. He revealed that he had struggled a lot in his life, and still, someone tried to put a false case against him. Talking about his life in jail, Pearl shared that he died every single day. The actor also shared that he had a pen, and he thought of ending his life with a pen. Pearl V Puri described the whole incident and shared:
"Mai her din mara hoon jail mein. Mai bata bhi nahi sakta. 11th day mere pass ek pen tha, aur mai ne film mein dekha tha ki pen se ho jata hai.. Mujhe pata tha aisa hota hai. 11th day mai ne soch liya tha yeh hone wala hai because papa ja chuke the. Mummy itna jada bimar thi, ki mujhe pata hi nahi tha kya halat ho rahi hogi unki waha. Mujhe clue hi nahi tha mai kr kya raha hoon."

Pearl V Puri added that he was reciting Hanuman Chalisa continuously 108 times, and just before finishing his sankalp, he thought of ending his life. He added that he took the pen from a policeman stating that he loves writing. However, the motive was to end his life.
In 2021, after a wait of 13 days, first time Pearl V Puri shared his side of the story. He shared how life has its own way of testing people. He shared that during that phase he had lost his nani maa, and a few months later, his father died. Later, it was his mother was diagnosed with cancer, and then the shocking incident happened to him. He had written:
"Life has its own way of testing people! I lost my nani ma a few months back, then on her 17th day I lost my dad post that my mother got diagnosed with cancer and then this ghastly accusation. Last couple of weeks were grueling for me like a nightmare."
Pearl also talked about the whole episode and stated that he was overnight made to feel like a criminal, in the midst of his mother's cancer treatment.
