While the Chopra sisters are busy taking over the world, it is their bond that often makes headlines. The two had always been a pillar of support in each other's life. From planning about the future to finally living the biggest dream, the two grew up.
Recently, on Neha Dhupia’s chat show, BFFs with Vogue-Season 3, Parineeti revealed an interesting detail of her sister, Priyanka's wedding. In a 'Say It or Strip It' session, she shared how much she got for hiding Nick's shoes for the joota chupai rasam. She said, "I got a lot of money, I got dollars and rupees, in lakhs and we also got diamond rings. We also got bags, we got a lot of stuff. He was very generous." She further added, "He was actually more prepared than all of us. So I thought I was the smart one and I was going to go and do this 'rasam' (ceremony) and take only cash from him. They were more than ready because when the time came, he literally just signaled to someone and all of us cousins looked at the back, and there was this guy with a giant tray full of diamond rings and all of us got diamond rings and the bridesmaids got a lot of gifts. So I am proud to show off that Nick jiju is very generous."
Parineeti also stated that Priyanka was bridechilla, and she didn't have any bridezilla moment or the wedding jitters. She shared, "We honestly thought of it before the wedding happened but actually not at all. She (Priyanka) was just so happy and in fact, she was so excited like she was that bride who, when the baraat came she wanted to get ready early so that she can run and see the baraat in a filmy style. She was really happy. So no, bridezilla moment, not at all."
Earlier, in an interview with The Times of India, Parineeti had revealed that she always knew that Priyanka's relationship will reach the marriage cards. She had shared, "Nick came to India in June and we all went to Goa together. Nick, me, Mimi didi [Priyanka Chopra], her best friend. There were five of us. When I was there with him, there were times when the two of us were together. The way he used to talk about her. I used to keep looking at him and keep smiling that he's a guy in love. But when he was not there, I used to go to Mimi didi and tell her that he is amazing."
Parineeti had further stated, "I remember telling Mimi didi that I have never seen you this happy. It's unbelievable, the kind of positive effect you both have on each other. And one month later at 3 am in the night, I had a FaceTime missed call. I FaceTimed them back and both of them were in the frame in Greece. She just put up her hand up and showed me the ring. It was the most beautiful moment."
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, the 30-year-old actress had talked about her bond with her sister, Priyanka, and had stated, "We are really close, Priyanka and I.
