Parineeti Chopra has been making headlines for her dreamy wedding. However, before marrying the love of her life, Raghav Chadha, reports of Parineeti Chopra being pregnant were rife. It all started after she was seen hiding her tummy in a kaftan dress. However, the actress never really addressed the rumours. Finally, she dismissed all with a post on her IG handle and revealed the reason for gaining 16 kgs.
On December 4, 2023, Parineeti Chopra took to her Instagram handle and shared a video compilation of her body transformation. The actress revealed that she gained 15 kg weight for her film, Chamkila, which will be released on Netflix. She added that in the last six months, her life revolved around AR Rahman's recording studio and eating junk food at home.

Parineeti further revealed that she has been working hard in the gym to return to her fit self. She was seen doing heavy exercises in the video, and her transformation was unbelievable. She wrote:
"I spent 6 months last year singing in Rahman sir’s studio, and going back home to eat as much junk as I possibly could to put on 15 KILOS for Chamkila! (Coming soon on Netflix) Music and Food. That was my routine. Now that the film is done, the story is the opposite. I miss the studio, and work in the gym trying to look like myself again. And not like Amarjot ji! Its been hard. But anything for you Imtiaz sir! And this role. Many more inches to go."

She kept her look minimal with statement earrings. Subtle makeup with hair left open completed her look. Parineeti was seen flaunting her pink-toned chooda and sindoor.
