And as Palak too, made a name for herself in the film industry, she never misses a chance to talk about her mother's upbringing and support for her. Now, as a video from one of her recent candid chats was posted on Instagram, Palak was heard revealing how Shweta used to get all the OTPs for her expenses.
In a candid chat with the Curly Tales, Palak Tiwari revealed that her mother, Shweta Tiwari gets all the OTPs for her expenses. Despite achieving immense success in her work front and making her mother proud, Palak revealed how she needs to convince Shweta of each of her purchases. The Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actress also shared her mother's reaction every time she asks for an OTP and how the doting daughter used to convince Shweta for the same. In Palak's words:
"But OTPs still come on my mother’s phone, and if I have to spend something with my own card, I have to call my mother to ask for the OTP. Then she will say, 'Why, where do you have to spend Rs. 1000? Does money grow on trees?' And I say, 'No mummy, just share it, please.' Then I have to convince my mother for 3 minutes, then that OTP gets expired and I ask for a new one. Then she is like, 'Why are you disturbing me on my shoot?'"

Soon after this, the show's host was heard saying, "Because it's a cycle that keeps going on." To this, Palak immediately added, "Yeah, it never ends." But the host once again mentioned, "This is the story of all middle-class, children and parents ever." And Palak too, admitted the same and added, "Which is why I am happy that you guys are paying for this, otherwise, again, she would ask why do I need an OTP after me saying 'OTP kahan hai?'" Moreover, Palak mentioned that whenever her mother stumbles upon any report of her dating rumours, she often wonders if she gave her too much freedom to party and go out. In Palak's words:
"She often wonders, 'Am I sending my daughter out too much or if she is partying too much?'. When she sees these dating rumours, she sends me the links and asks me things like 'Who is this or where did this come from? 'And my replies are koi nahi hai kyunki sach mein koi nahi hai. It is just my mother, my brother and me."
