Indian cricketer, KL Rahul, and actress, Athiya Shetty tied the knot on January 23, 2023, at the latter's father, Suniel Shetty's bungalow in Khandala. Pictures and videos of the whimsical wedding are still doing rounds on the internet, and we are obsessed with them. Now, we have got the first-ever glimpse of Athiya Shetty as a newlywed, and her bridal glow is unmissable.
On January 24, 2023, Anshula Kapoor took to her IG handle and shared a glimpse of the fun times she had at Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul's wedding. She was seen holding some polaroids in her hand, which featured the newlyweds, Rahul and Athiya, posing with her and her beau, Rohan Thakkar. However, it was Athiya's look as a newlywed that caught our attention the most. The new bride was seen decked up in a red-hued lehenga with silver embroidery all over it and paired her outfit with diamond jewellery. Athiya also flaunted her engagement ring and a dainty mangalsutra. Atop the picture, Anshula penned:

For her close friend, Athiya Shetty's wedding, Anshula Kapoor donned a pastel-hued traditional ensemble to complement the theme of the wedding. The gorgeousness opted for a cream-hued sharara paired with a heavily-embellished choli. She styled her outfit with a sheer dupatta with an embellished borderline and tucked it like a cape over her shoulders. On the other hand, Rohan complemented her in a cream-hued kurta-pyjama paired with a white Nehru jacket.

For her wedding, Athiya Shetty ditched the traditional red lehenga and opted for a pink-hued lehenga designed by Anamika Khanna. The bride donned a chikankari wedding lehenga on her D-Day and looked elegant. Pairing her lehenga with a full-sleeved blouse, Athiya complemented her look with heavy jewellery, which included a stone-encrusted neckpiece, matching earrings, and a maang teeka. Opting for a dewy makeup look, she tied her hair in a bun. KL Rahul, on the other hand, looked dapper in a lightly embroidered sherwani from the shelves of designer, Anamika Khanna. He completed his look with a stole and multi-layered emerald neckpiece.

While KL Rahul is known as a talented cricketer, who is currently serving as the vice-captain of the Indian cricket team in Test cricket, his wife, Athiya Shetty is an actress. Daughter of Bollywood actor, Suniel Shetty and his wife, Mana Shetty, Athiya made her Bollywood debut in 2015 with the film, Hero, and etched her place in our hearts. Some of her other movies include Mubarakan and Motichoor Chaknachoor.
Reportedly, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty will host a grand reception in Mumbai for their friends before the Indian Premier League (IPL).
