Ranbir Kapoor is soaring high on the professional front as he has back-to-back big movies in his bag. While Shamshera would release on July 22, 2022, his much-awaited science fiction movie, Brahmashtra, is slated to release on September 9, 2022. The handsome hunk had also got settled in life this year, as he had got hitched to actress, Alia Bhatt on April 14, 2022, in a fairytale wedding. Now, the actor has made a shocking revelation and said he has not yet met his ‘first wife’.
On May 14, 2022, Alia Bhatt had celebrated her one-month marriage anniversary with Ranbir Kapoor over a dinner date. In the photos shared by paps, we could see the new bride and Ranbir heading out of a restaurant while carefully avoiding the shutterbugs. Alia had looked beautiful in a blue-hued floral dress. On the other hand, Ranbir was seen clad in a black ensemble. He was also holding a gift as he had guided his wife to the car.
In an interview with Mashable, Ranbir recalled the craziest fan encounter he had many years ago. Talking about the same, Ranbir said that a woman had come to his family bungalow and had got married to the gate of the mansion. Hence, he has not met her yet and hopes to meet his ‘first wife’ sometime in life. In his words:
“There was a girl and I never met her. But my watchman told me that she came with a pundit and she married my gate. There was some ‘teeka’ on the gate and some flowers too. So, that’s quite crazy. I haven’t met my first wife yet, so I look forward to meeting you at some point.”
Recently, we had stumbled upon a video featuring actor, Ranbir Kapoor from the trailer launch of his upcoming film, Shamshera. During the event, Ranbir had shared that the year 2022 has been fortunate for him as he had got married to the love of his life, Alia Bhatt. Talking about his married life, Ranbir had quoted one of his famous dialogues from the film, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and had mentioned that after getting married to Alia, he had felt that Dal Chawal is the best. He could be heard saying:
“This year has been a very big year for me, because I got married. That’s a very beautiful part of my life. I said this in a film that “Shaadi is Dal Chawal for 50 years till you die..etc. But Boss, in life, Dal Chawal is the best, there’s nothing else better than that. And in my life, Alia is all the spices, pickles, everything in the Dal rice. And I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in my life.”
In another video, when the host had asked Ranbir about the one thing for which he would consider becoming a dacoit or a thief. Listening to this question, the actor had begun assuming, and shortly someone from the audience screamed, “You will steal our hearts!” However, it was Ranbir's prompt response that had won our hearts in split seconds. Hinting that now he's settled and content in his life as he had got hitched, Ranbir had said:
“I have left all that now.”
On the professional front, Ranbir will be seen in movies, Shamshera and Brahmashtra.
