Mouni Roy shared that ever since childhood, she has been very critical of her facial features, and only her close circle knows about it. However, the diva added that now, via meditation and spiritual healing, she has overcome her insecurities and has completely accepted herself. She also added that she is now a firm believer in self-love and preaches the same.

Although, Mouni Roy now claims to have accepted her appearance, netizens pen that the actress is saying so only after having multiple surgeries to enhance her facial features. A fan says that it is not the spirituality or meditation that has helped her to be comfortable in her skin but her plastic surgeon, who has completely changed her looks.

On the professional front, Mouni Roy will next be seen in Ektaa Kapoor's Love, Sex Aur Dhokha 2. The film is directed by Dibakar Banerjee and is set to hit the screens on April 19. It features Uorfi Javed in a pivotal role and will have Mouni doing a special cameo. Talking about Mouni and Ektaa's collaboration, an insider close to the duo revealed:
"Ektaa and Mouni have gone a long way since the beginning of her career as Mouni was launched by Ektaa. In the film, Mouni will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar."
