The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been grabbing all the spotlight globally, ever since they decided to step down from their royal duties and start living independently. The duo, who is currently residing in California, have opted for a more radical and eased lifestyle for themselves, along with their kids, Archie and Lilibet. Moreover, reports about the Sussex couple sharing a cold war with the royal family, at Buckingham Palace, has been a much-frequented gossip of the tabloids.
According to Omid Scobie, a close observer of the Royal Family, it is reported that the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has moved on from the bindings of her former family at Buckingham Palace and has firmly cut off all her ties with them. She reportedly is disinterested in the workings of the royal household and does not wish to continue her association with them. On the contrary, she is resolved to focus on her own family, concerning her husband, Prince Harry and their children, Archie and Lilibet.

However, the situation stands slightly different in the case of Prince Harry. According to Omid Scobie, the royal prince is still embroiled in a complicated situation, as he is still reminiscent of his bonding with his family. Most importantly, Harry has yet to solve some unfinished business with his family, especially related to the wrong press coverage heaped on him and Meghan, at the time of their exit. Revealing how Harry is continually negotiating his stance, Scobie mentioned:
“For Harry it’s different. He still has unfinished business when it comes to his battles with the press. His challenge will be to find something that balances that out so we can see him working in a space that isn’t connected to the ties that bind from the past.”
According to a previous report by Entertainment Tonight, there is still a lingering existence of a cold war between the royal brothers, Prince William and Prince Harry. While the former wasn’t happy with his sibling moving away from the royal duties, it was Harry’s shocking allegations against William in his memoir, Spare that soured their relationship. Quoting how there is no possibility of reconciliation between the brothers anytime soon, the report stated:
“Harry and William's relationship has not improved since things went wrong and there is no reconciliation expected anytime soon. There is no real trust at the moment and that needs to be rebuilt. There's a great deal of hurt on both sides.”
