Mayanti Langer was born on February 8, 1985, in Delhi to her parents, Lt. General Sanjiv Langer and Preminda Langer. As per multiple reports, Mayanti completed her schooling in Delhi, and for graduation, she took admission in Delhi University's Hindu College.

The sports presenter completed her graduation with B.A. (Hons). Along with studies, Mayanti was also a sports enthusiast, and during her school and college, it was football in which she used to invest most of her energy.

How did Mayanti Langer's journey as a sports anchor start?

For the unversed, Mayanti Langer also went to the U.S. for higher studies, where her interest in football took centre stage and turned out to be the stepping stone in her journey.

The immense knowledge that Mayanti has about football impressed some broadcasters, who asked her to host FIFA beach football for them. It was a golden opportunity, and Mayanti wasted no time in accepting the offer. And it started her journey as a sports presenter.
