Malvika Sitlani is one of the most followed millennial influencers on social media. She started her career in content creation by creating content for YouTube. Malvika, who often talks about her life, recently opened up about the difficulties she faced when she started creating content. In a conversation with Shivani Pau for her podcast, A Millennial Mind, Malvika revealed that her family lost all their money, and they survived in a one-bedroom apartment after her father left them.
However, a Reddit threat claim otherwise and claims Malvika’s story is confusing. In the podcast, Malvika also revealed how her brother had to drop out of school, and he couldn’t complete his education after class 10th because of the family’s poor financial conditions.

A Reddit user shared a picture of Malvika’s brother, Jake Sitlani, who is also a content creator on YouTube and showed how the then 17-18-year-old looked nothing but poor. In the picture, Jake was seen having a relaxed day in a 5-star hotel, carrying a Mac laptop. Soon netizens claimed that what Malvika shared in the podcast was all lies and that the picture in question was quite the opposite of what the millennial influencer claimed.
Netizens also claimed Malvika’s story about her father leaving the family was completely fake. One of the users shared a link to Malvika’s Vlog, in which she was seen holidaying with her mom in Thailand, and after some moments, her dad joined in. The user also claimed that she didn’t look one per cent poor in the video.

Coming back to Malvika Sitlani’s interview with Shivani Pau, the millennial influencer made some shocking claims about her family turning poor when her father left them. In her words:
“We came into a lot of wealth, and that could have made me a very different person. But we lost it all and when I say ‘all’, it was like you were rich and now you are poor. When I was 21, dad left. We were in a four-bedroom, then went to a three-bedroom but couldn’t afford the rent. Then moved to a one-room apartment, mum slept on the floor, my brother slept on the couch, another brother on the floor, I was on the bed, and I started my YouTube career then.”
