Now, Vijay Deverakonda revealed whether his mother keeps on nagging him to get married or not, and his answer will surprise you.
In a candid conversation with Bollywood Life on the occasion of International Women's Day, South Indian actor, Vijay Deverakonda talked about his mother, Madhavi Deverakonda and revealed whether she constantly nags him to get married or not. The Liger actor stated that his mother is an extremely chilled-out person and hardly talks about these matters, as she has confidence in him and his decision making. He said, "No, in fact, my parents are extremely chilled out as far as these things are concerned. They know I am responsible, and they know that I know what I am doing. So, they let me make my decisions, whatever it may be." When Vijay was asked to reveal his favourite dish cooked by his mother, the actor stated that his mother makes incredibly delicious dal and roti. He said, "She makes incredible Dal and Roti."
Going further in his interview, Vijay Deverakonda revealed that he was in the third standard when he and his brother, Anand Deverakonda, decided to give their mother the first gift from their side. Recalling the same incident, Vijay had stated, "I think when I was in the third grade. My mum and dad had gone out. Me and my younger brother decided to clean the whole house. He was in the first grade and I was in the third. We cleaned up the house and made a greeting card with some pictures and hearts and wrote, 'I Love you'." The actor also added that he got a bit scared and confused when his mother had started crying as he wasn't aware of the concept of 'happy tears' at that time. He added, "She started crying when she saw it. I didn't understand what made her cry. I don't think we understood the concept of happy tears then. It made her emotional. The Geetha Govindam actor, Vijay Deverakonda, also opened up about his mother, Madhavi Deverakonda's favourite film starring him, and his answer will melt your hearts in split seconds as it describes a mother's love perfectly. He said, "I don't think she watches the film. I think she is just looking at me in the film. I don't think she knows any of the stories. She's too much in love with her kid, yeah, she is too much in love with me." Before signing-off, Vijay revealed the first film he had watched with his mother in the theatre and concluded it by saying, "Any Rajnikanth or a Chiranjeevi film. I would have gone to theatres with my whole fam, and with mom along and would have watched probably a Rajnikanth or a Chiranjeevi starrer film."
