When he was only 16 years old, he acted in the movie, Gangotri. But in actuality, not many know that the actor debuted at the mere age of 3 as a child artist in the movie, Vijetha in 1985.

#2. Allu Arjun wanted to pursue a career in visual effects and studied animation

While everyone is quite mesmerised by the craft of the most talented and one of the highest-paid actors, Allu Arjun, very few people know that the actor initially wanted to be an animator and thought of pursuing a career in visual effects. Not only this, but he also studied animation in the US. As per another report by the Republic, the actor even did an internship at a company in Hyderabad and it was his plan B if acting had not taken shape as he planned it. 

Talking about the same, in an interview in 2020, Allu Aravind's son, Allu Arjun, stated that his initial plan was to be an animator, but his interest later fizzled out. He also mentioned that as he is from a filmy background, it was kind of bound to happen that he would end up as an actor. Allu Arjun had said:

"Initially, I wanted to be an animator. But soon my interest fizzled out.. When you’re born in a film family, you’re influenced by the environment. Wherever you go, you’re bound to return to films. This place has some kind of gravity."

#3. Allu Arjun's nickname has a connection to a famous movie of Ranbir Kapoor

Allu Arjun has a cutesy nickname, with which he is called by his fans, family members, and friends, and it has a connection to Ranbir Kapoor's character in the movie, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Yes! You guessed it right. Allu Arjun is cutely called 'Bunny' by his close ones as Ranbir's role 'Kabir' was called in the cult classic, YJHD.
