Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan have been grabbing the spotlight for some time now, ever since a teaser clip of the duo gracing the couch of Koffee With Karan has surfaced on the internet. While the teaser clip shows the duo spilling some major gossips and revelations, there are some more interesting remarks that the actors will be speaking about.
Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt made their joint debut in the year 2012 with the hit film, Student Of The Year. While the three of them have surely attained some major heights in their career since, it is in Koffee With Karan 8 that Karan Johar revealed how the two boys didn’t want Alia to be a part of the film in the first place. He mentioned:
“I still remember with Alia, the first time that she walked in, how both of you sent me messages saying you can’t cast her. One of you said she is too young. I am saying it started like this but when we shot with her, 3 months post that for a photo shoot, I remember she stood quiet and didn’t look at either of you. Either she was conscious or shy because you all already knew me. She didn’t know me at all. We did the photo shoot, and right after that, I mean, I knew at the first shot.”

Hearing Karan, Sidharth quickly denied all of it. However, keeping up his witty nature, Karan immediately rebuked the actor to stop pretending and added how both Varun and Sidharth continuously kept sending him pictures of other girls, who could be casted in the film. Finally, Sidharth concluded:
“But see, that was what was wonderful that she was the underdog within the underdogs here already, then she emerged.”
Earlier, a report stated that Alia Bhatt will be making an audio-visual appearance in Koffee With Karan 8, wherein she praised her ex-beau, Sidharth Malhotra about the person that he is. She revealed that Sidharth is an excellent singer, a great party initiator and even the first person to fall asleep in his own party. However, she also thanked him specially for gifting her the first love of her life, her cat, Edward.

Back during the previous season of Koffee With Karan, Sidharth Malhotra had given a witty response when asked about what he still missed about his ex-flame, Alia Bhatt. Well, the dashing actor revealed that he missed Alia’s cat, Edward.
