Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have been winning the internet for the past few days. The duo has swooned our hearts with the pictures from their grand wedding held at Six Senses Fort, Barwara, in Rajasthan, on December 9, 2021. The much-in-love couple, Katrina and Vicky had tied the knot in the presence of their close friends and family and had opted for the perfect Sabyasachi ensembles. The newlyweds have shared some more gorgeous and romantic pictures from their pre-wedding and the two looked completely enamoured by each other.

On December 14, 2021, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal took to their respective IG handles and shared a few unseen photos from one of their pre-wedding festivities. In the pictures, Katrina and Vicky both can be seen wearing pastel pink-coloured floral embroidered outfits. The then-bride and groom paid homage to Katrina's mother's British heritage by wearing the vintage-styled couture and carrying hand-picked flowers in a bouquet. The couple shared the pictures with a caption that can be read as:

"To love, honour and cherish."

Styled by celebrity stylist, Anaita Shroff Adajania, the then-bride, Katrina Kaif, opted for Sabyasachi Mukherjee's couture and donned a pastel tulle saree embellished with hand-cut English flowers and paired it with a long vintage-inspired trailing veil that gave a wedding gown effect. Taking to her IG handle, Anaita Shroff Adajania shared the pictures from Vicky and Katrina's pre-wedding and explained her look. She wrote:

"While planning the looks I really wanted something that reflected the beauty of a white wedding… veil , trail and a bouquet of hand picked flowers. So we added these ideas to the eternal grace of a sari. @sabyasachiofficial created this magical nude floral tulle with the most delicate flowers, that reminded me of flowers we press to dry in our favourite romantic novels.. their fragrance lingering on…"

Ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee also took to his IG handle and gave a brief description of Katrina Kaif's floral saree with a trailing veil. He shared that it took 1800 hours and 40 artisans to create this vintage-inspired saree. He wrote:

"Katrina Kaif @katrinakaif pays tribute to her mother’s British heritage during the pre-wedding festivities. Sabyasachi conceptualised and created a vintage-inspired couture sari with a trailing veil. Silhouetted like a white wedding gown, the pastel tulle sari is embellished with hand-cut English flowers, embroidered by craftswomen from Bengal and liberally sprinkled with semi-precious gems and crystals. The ensemble took 40 artisans over 1800 hours to handcraft."

Not just Katrina's saree but also her statement jewellery was from the shelves of Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Katrina Kaif completed her look with an uncut diamond broad choker neckpiece and matching earrings. Sharing the details about Katrina's jewellery, the designer wrote:

"The sari is paired with a statement uncut diamond choker detailed with opals and pale Russian emeralds, with matching earrings from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery @sabyasachijewelry"

On the other hand, the then-groom, Vicky Kaushal was also decked in Sabyasachi attire on his big day. His look was put together by his stylist, Amandeep Kaur. Vicky beautifully complemented Katrina's outfit and looked dashing in the pastel ashes of rose-coloured bandhgala with trousers in Merino wool embedded with Sabyasachi tiger-emblemed gold plated buttons. The pictures look nothing less than a dreamy affair! Talking about Vicky's outfit, Sabyasachi wrote:

"The groom @vickykaushal09 wears a Bangalore silk embroidered sherwani and matching churidar with Sabyasachi gold plated Bengal Tiger buttons and custom made juttis by @sabyasachiaccessories."


Drape artist, Dolly Jain had put her heart into making the bride, Katrina Kaif to look perfect on all her wedding festivities. In an interview with Zoom TV,  Dolly had shared her experience of draping Katrina's lehenga and had said that Katrina is a perfectionist and is a very simple girl. Dolly had also revealed that the actress was very sure as to how to she wanted to look and was very calm and quiet on her special day.
