On April 20, 2020, Kartik Aaryan took to his Instagram handle and posted a hilarious video with his sister, Kritika Tiwari. In the video, we can see Kartik sitting on a chair with his full-grown beard making him look like 'Kabir Singh'. While, his sister, Kritika is standing behind him and does an extremely funny trick with a hypothetical string, having a hilarious end. In the year 2018, Kartik had gotten the chance to celebrate Rakshabandhan with his sister, Kritika after so many years. In an interview with the National Herald, Kartik had talked about the emotional moment and had shared, "I am in my home-town Gwalior. After six years I am in my home-town for Raksha Bandhan, and that too for work. I’m shooting for Dinesh Vijeyan’s Lukka Chuppi with Kriti Sanon in Gwalior. This is a rare chance I’ve to be home with my sister for Raksha Bandhan."
In the same interview, Kartik had also revealed the gift he had given his sister and had said, "I saw the screen of her phone is broken. So, I bought a new phone for her for Raksha Bandhan. There was a time when I couldn’t afford to give her expensive gifts. Every Raksha Bandhan I gave my sister 11 only. I don’t think she will be happy if I give her 11 now. She is very clear about being a material girl and she’s most happy to accept expensive gifts from me."
