Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the most sought-after actresses in Bollywood. Married to Saif Ali Khan, she is a loving mommy to her two adorable kids, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan. The actress has time and again proved that she is a hands-on mother who knows how to balance her personal and professional lives. At a recent event, Xpress Adda held in Mumbai, Kareena Kapoor Khan opened up about embracing her age. Talking about how it feels to be in her 40s, the actress shared that she feels a lot more relaxed and is having a lot more fun after becoming a mom. She further added that she doesn't constantly think about looking a certain way and said:
"I think being in the 40s is just the best part. Personally, I think I feel a lot more relaxed, and after having my children, I think I’m having a lot more fun than I did earlier. It’s so important to have fun because that’s what keeps you going; that’s what keeps you happy. And, you know, longevity, everything is so important. It’s all about just having fun, rather than constantly thinking that I should look like this or I should do this. I’ve never been like that."

In the same conversation, Kareena Kapoor was asked about the one trick that a parent should try to make their child get along with their newborn sibling. Responding to the same, the actress shared that she and Saif always buy two things for each of their kids to avoid clashes between them. In her words:
"The one trick with two boys is, just buy two of everything. Whether we’re at the airport or anything, if Saif buys one Hubba Bubba, I tell him to buy two."
Kareena Kapoor also talked about raising her kids, Taimur and Jehangir, in the public eye and shared that it has been quite tough for her. Talking about not hiding Taimur's face from the media, the loving mommy revealed that she and Saif were concerned that it would reflect on their son's mind and make him cautious in the future. She added:
"I think it has been quite tough but what made it easy was that we didn’t really cover Taimur’s face, or stopped people from taking pictures because both Saif and I felt that if we started covering our child’s face, it would reflect on his mind a lot more like ‘Why are my parents doing this to me?’ So Saif said, ‘Just let it be, and we’ll deal with it’, we’ll request the photographers as much as we can."

Further in the interview, Kareena shared that when Taimur started noticing that he was being papped, he asked her the reason behind the same. To this, the loving mommy told her son that since she and Saif work in movies, they are famous, and that's why photographers surround them all the time. Reflecting on the same, Kareena added:
"So now, if you notice, he just puts his head down and runs off, but he doesn’t like it. But I just thought that hiding him and doing all of that would impact him negatively, may scar him, make him shy, or maybe say that he does not want to go out because his parents are constantly shielding him. I want him to have as normal a life as possible."
