Bollywood actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan and her loving husband, Saif Ali Khan are blessed with their two little munchkins, Taimur and Jehangir. Currently, Kareena has been busy promoting her next film, Jaane Jaan, which also marks her OTT debut. The Sujoy Ghosh’s film starring Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat along with her, is set to release on Netflix on September 21, 2023. Amidst all, she sat for a detailed conversation and revealed many anecdotes from her life. She also revealed the 'rule of the house' regarding her kids' nannies, and it's simply unmissable.
In a recent interaction at The Indian Express’ Express Adda, Kareena Kapoor Khan mentioned that earlier her kids' nannies used to have their meals while sitting on different dining tables. However, her elder kid, Taimur started asking why they weren't sitting with them at the same table. Following his bade bhaiya, Jehangir also started asking the same question. Explaining the same, Kareena said:
“She sits with us, my boys’ nannies are eating with them because that’s just the way both Saif and I have addressed it, because Taimur has asked and Jeh is already asking, ‘Why are you sitting there? Sit here’.”

Thus, Kareena revealed that in this way, the new ritual was formed, and now everyone in her family eats together. Kareena and Saif believe in respecting the nannies, who are an important part of their house and care of their kids in their absence. Moreover, praising the nannies for looking after the children like their own, Kareena mentioned how they deserve all the respect. Kareena expressed:
“This is the rule of the house because they look after my children. They are looking after them when I am working and they have to get the respect that Saif and I have. We are all together most of the time and we travel together. They look after my children like their own and that is something that I cannot… I can’t just oversee that.”
Kareena is a doting mommy. Despite having a busy schedule, she always takes time out for her kids. For instance, on August 20, 2023, Kareena Kapoor explored the 'Run As Slow As You Can' exhibition at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre along with her sons, Taimur and Jehangir. In a few pictures which surfaced on the internet, the mother-son trio was seen posing in front of innovative backdrops and having a blissful time over there. Kareena also took to her IG stories and shared a cute picture of Jehangir starring a caricatured watermelon. Atop it, she wrote:
"Watermeon is my favourite fruit."

Kareena and Saif are travel freaks, and whenever they get time, the madly-in-love duo go on vacations along with their boys. For instance, on June 27, 2023, Kareena shared the first-ever family picture from her last holiday in London. In the photo, the family of four was seen enjoying a yummy breakfast. Kareena looked stunning in an orange-hued shirt and a pair of blue jeans. On the other hand, Saif opted for a green-toned shirt. However, it was their kids' nuances, which melted many hearts. While Taimur posed beautifully, Jeh cutely winked towards the camera.
