2021 brought along a lot of happiness and love in the Kapoor-Pataudi household as Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan welcomed their second child and their firstborn, Taimur Ali Khan became a big brother. On February 21, 2021, Saif confirmed that Kareena had given birth to their son and both mother and child are healthy and safe. The elated grandfather, Randhir Kapoor had also confirmed that Saif and Kareena had become parents for the second time but have not yet named the little one. Since then, their fans have been waiting for the glimpse of the youngest Pataudi and looks like the wait is finally over as Kareena posted the first-ever picture with her newborn son.
It was a year ago when Kareena Kapoor Khan had joined Instagram and you would definitely agree with us if we say that it was the best thing that happened in 2020. After her debut on the social media platform, we have been getting our healthy dose of ‘good looks, good looks and good looks’ and just like she had promised, “of course, there will be once in a while a picture of Taimur", we do get sneak-peeks of their personal life frequently. Now that Kareena has embraced motherhood for the second time, we have hoped to get glimpses of the little one too on her Instagram handle.
Finally, the much-awaited moment has arrived as Kareena Kapoor Khan posted the first-ever glimpse of her newborn son on her IG handle. It was reported that Kareena will introduce her son through her profile on Instagram and the report proved to be true. To mark International Women's Day 2021, Kareena posted the first-ever selfie with her newborn son and captioned it as “There’s nothing women can’t do. Happy Women’s Day my loves. #InternationalWomensDay.”
More than a week after delivering her second child, Kareena Kapoor Khan had made a PHAT comeback on her IG handle. Kareena had posted a no make-up selfie from her new apartment’s terrace and looked radiant in a blue shirt with a sun hat. As much as we had missed Kareena on social media, she too, missed her fans and her caption was the proof. She had written, "Oh hello there... Missed you all." Kareena had radiated a newbie mom’s glow in her selfie.
Last year, to introduce her munchkin, Taimur Ali Khan on her official Instagram profile, Kareena Kapoor Khan had left us in awe with a picture with him as well as its sweetest caption. She had written, "The only one I will ever allow to steal my frame," as Taimur rested on his mommy’s shoulders. In another picture, Kareena Kapoor Khan had posted a throwback picture of her ‘love’, Saif Ali Khan from Taimur Ali Khan’s third birthday bash. Taimur seemed lost as his daddy, Saif turned guitarist and the way this photo captured so many emotions, we were all in awe of it. Blurry, but perfect! Bebo had captioned it, "My love... always playing his own tune."
When Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan had welcomed their second child, Karisma Kapoor, who became maasi for the second time, couldn’t control her excitement. She had posted a throwback picture when her sister, Kareena was a newborn. Karisma had captioned her post as “That’s my sis when she was a new born and now she’s a mama once again!! And I’m a masi again so excited #goodwishes #congratulations #onlylove.” Kareena’s chachi, Neetu Kapoor had posted a throwback picture with Bebo, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Bharat Sahni and Ranbir Kapoor. Congratulating Kareena and Saif, she had written, “Congratulations @kareenakapoorkhan and Saif one more addition to the cuties.” Riddhima had posted a picture of the girl gang from her 40th birthday celebrations and had captioned it as “Congratulations Bebo and Saif #itsaboy @kareenakapoorkhan.” Saba Ali Khan had congratulated Saif and Kareena through an IG story. Alia Bhatt too, had congratulated her soon-to-be sister-in-law, Kareena and expressed her wish to meet Tim Tim’s baby brother.
Isn’t Kareena and Saif’s newborn son adorable?
