Amid the ongoing Koffee With Karan 8, a Reddit user shared a video of Kareena Kapoor Khan from season 4 of the show on the discussion platform. In the viral video, the show's host, Karan asked the actress about Alia Bhatt and her debut film, Student of the Year. To this, Kareena stated that she loved the film. Karan interrupted and asked her opinion on people's perception of Alia Bhatt being Kareena's younger self. However, it was Kareena's reaction to the video that caught our attention.

In the video, Kareena can be seen taking a pause and clearing her throat in a sarcastic way before answering Karan's answer. Further, she stated that she has mixed reactions regarding the perception of Alia being her younger self. Kareena further added that she likes Alia as the latter is her fan. In her words:
"I love her, I don't know. Mixed feelings."
Soon after Kareena's video went viral on the discussion thread, netizens started flooding the comment section of the post with their witty reactions. A Reddit user shared a video of the nanad-bhabhi duo on the discussion platform, wherein Alia was seen talking about how she always clicked pictures at Kapoor's family's get-together, especially on the Christmas lunches, as everyone finds it difficult to find where to look. Further, when Alia asked Kareena about her opinion on the same, the latter gave her a cold stare. Later, Alia added that Bebo is giving her very jethani vibes.
Earlier, in an interview with Mid-Day, Kareena gave her opinion on Alia Bhatt having a similar kind of career trajectory to hers. The actress heaped praises on her bhabhi and mentioned that the latter is gifted. In her words:
"I think that she is truly gifted. She is such a spectacular actor and her choices are also…like she does these commercial big ones and then she will do a Darlings. So, she likes to do this, which is great."
