Taking to her IG handle, on January 24, 2024, Kajol shared a lovely photo with her daughter, Nysa Devgan, to mark National Girl Child Day. In the picture, Kajol looked stunning in an embellished golden-hued saree and paired it with a halter neck blouse in a similar shade. Kajol teamed her look with diamond earrings, a ponytail hairstyle and subtle makeup, including glittery eyes, red lipstick and blushed cheeks. On the other hand, Nysa looked gorgeous in a pink embellished lehenga choli and completed her look with nude makeup and an open hairdo. The loving mommy was seen staring at her daughter while the latter looked at something at a distance.

Sharing the picture, Kajol penned a lengthy note to motivate her daughter, Nysa to stand against all the evil in society. Kajol revealed her thoughts on whether her daughter will be able to handle the world outside or not. She mentioned that regardless of everything, she will become her daughter's strength, and penned:
"When you have a girl you always wonder what will the world throw at her? Will she be able to stand with her male counterparts and will the world support her.. on this day let’s make our girls strong enough to stand up for themselves regardless of the world and do our best to make this world a place where even their daughters will thrive.. let’s work towards that. @nysadevgan #nationalgirlchildday #shotbyyugdevgan."
Like every mother-daughter duo, Kajol also bonds well with her daughter, Nysa, and proof of the same is often found. Moreover, once Kajol also shared how her doting daughter has the same attitude as her. Taking to her IG story, the actress penned down a note, mentioning how once she had asked her daughter to check her attitude. Soon, Nysa responded sarcastically, making Kajol reply that her daughter indeed played well. Revealing their conversation, Kajol wrote:
“I told my daughter to check her attitude and she looks at me and said, ‘For complaints about attitude please contact the manufacturer’. Well played well played!"

Thus, in an old interview with the Hindustan Times, Kajol was asked about her daughter, Nysa, who is facing the backlash online. To this, the doting mommy mentioned that she often tells her kids to take the social media backlash with a pinch of salt. However, the actress added that giving a befitting reply to every troll is impossible, as people always find something to discuss.
