Filmmaker, Boney Kapoor and his late wife, Sridevi's daughter, Janhvi Kapoor keeps hitting the headlines with one thing or the other. Besides her acting chops and stunning fashion sense, it is reports about her personal life, that always make her fans curious. She has reportedly been dating her childhood friend, Shikhar Pahariya, for a long time. For the unversed, they were dating even before she started acting in films but had once parted ways due to reasons known to them. Yet again, they reconciled, and now, Janhvi can be seen openly flaunting her love for him.
On April 9, 2024, Janhvi Kapoor graced her daddy, Boney Kapoor's latest production, Maidaan's special screening. She was seen posing for the paps along with Boney Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor, and the three of them radiated pure family goals. While Boney wore a blue-coloured co-ord set, Arjun looked handsome in an all-black look.

On the other hand, Janhvi looked the brightest in a white-hued pantsuit featuring a deep neckline. She teamed her look with matching coloured pump heels and glam makeup. She opted for minimal accessories and left her tresses open to do the magic to her look. However, it was her necklace that caught our attention. She was seen showing off her love for her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya as she wore a necklace featuring his nickname 'Shiku'.
A few days back, in an interview with Zoom, Boney Kapoor opened up about his daughter, Janhvi Kapoor’s boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya and mentioned that he loves him. The doting daddy also talked about having a cordial bond with Shikhar even when Janhvi was not dating him. Boney mentioned that he was sure that they are made for each other and the Kapoors are blessed to have Shikhar in their lives. Boney said:
“I love him (Shikhar), and in fact, in between a couple of years back, Janhvi was not seeing him, but I was still friendly to him. I was convinced he can never be an ex. He’ll be around. When any person is there for you in any capacity whether it’s for me, whether it’s for Janhvi, whether it’s for Arjun, he is friendly to all. So I feel we’re blessed to have somebody like him in our set up.”

Earlier, when Janhvi graced the show, Koffee With Karan 8, she spilled a little more about her dating life. She opened up about her equation with Shikhar and how they reconciled. During one of the segments of the episode, Karan Johar asked the actress why she decided to reconcile with him after their alleged breakup. He was heard asking, “You were dating Shikhar Pahariya and then you dated someone else and now you are dating Shikhar again, True or False?” To which, Janhvi blushed red and confirmed her reconciliation reports with Shikhar. She said:
“Have you heard that song, Nadaan Parinde Ghar Aaja? Shikhar used to sing that to me a lot.”
Afterwards, Janhvi explained that Shikhar has been her pillar of strength during tough times and even for her family, including her father, Boney Kapoor and sister, Khushi Kapoor. The actress called Shikhar a 'selfless' man. Moreover, the diva mentioned that she has seen no other man like Shikhar who cares for others in the manner he does. Janhvi explained:
“I will say this, I think not just for me, but for her (pointing to Khushi) and for dad (Boney Kapoor) and for everyone in our family, he’s been there from the start. As a friend, in whatever capacity and not in a way that made me feel like he’s expecting anything or he’s a pushover, any of those things. He was just there in a very selfless, dignified way and in a way that I have not seen many men capable of being for another human being.”
