Filmmaker, Boney Kapoor and his late wife, Sridevi, are blessed with two daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. The doting daddy has been fulfilling his parenting duties to the fullest and raising his daughters single-handedly. Currently, Boney is waiting for the release of his upcoming film, Maidaan. And during a recent interview, he also talked about his daughter, Janhvi Kapoor’s rumoured boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya.
In a candid conversation with Zoom, Boney Kapoor opened up about Shikhar Pahariya and said that he loves him. The filmmaker also mentioned that he shared a cordial bond with Shikhar even when Janhvi was not seeing him and that he was sure that the latter would stick around in the long run. Adding that they all are blessed to have Shikhar in their lives, Boney said:
“I love him (Shikhar), and in fact, in between a couple of years back, Janhvi was not seeing him, but I was still friendly to him. I was convinced he can never be an ex. He’ll be around. When any person is there for you in any capacity whether it’s for me, whether it’s for Janhvi, whether it’s for Arjun, he is friendly to all. So I feel we’re blessed to have somebody like him in our set up.”

On March 6, 2024, as Janhvi Kapoor turned a year older, taking to his IG stories, Shikhar Pahariya posted two adorable photos to wish her. While the first photo showed Janhvi and Shikhar standing next to each other and sharing a side hug in front of the Eiffel Tower, the second picture featured the actress posing with her furry pets. Along with it, Shikhar penned:
"Love from all your babies."
For those who don't know, Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar Pahariya had been in a relationship even before the actress made her debut in Bollywood. However, the year Janhvi made her debut, the duo broke up, only to reconcile after a few years. However, on Koffee With Karan 8, Karan Johar asked Janhvi the reason why she got back with Shikhar. Janhvi stated that her beau used to sing her the song, Nadaan Parinde Ghar Aaja.

However, what grabbed everyone's attention was that ace director-producer, Boney Kapoor was seen posing for the paparazzi with his daughter, Janhvi Kapoor’s rumoured beau, Shikhar Pahariya. He was seen keeping an arm around Shikhar, making him blush a lot. Though Janhvi, too, attended the bash, she didn't pose with her alleged beau.
