It is rightly said that during tough times you get to see the true colours of the ones who say they care about you. What if the ones who never were in touch with you, but proves to be the strongest support? How lovely it would be, no? Well, exactly this happened when Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor stood rock solid for their half-siblings, Janhavi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor after the sudden demise of Sridevi.
Though Anshula and Arjun got a lot of appreciation for their lovely gesture, they also got two friends like sisters, Jahnvi and Khushi (and vice-versa). Since then, whether it is their house party or family get together, these four have been spotted together. Not just this, we also see their sweet social media banters every now and then. Today, on July 25, 2019, Anshula took to her official Instagram handle and shared a lovely photo of herself laughing her heart out. She captioned her post as, “Another one in the #WhereThemEyesAt series #KapoorEyes.” Right after she had shared this post, half-sister, Janhvi commented, “Favourite,” followed by so many heart emojis. Arjun also commented and wrote, “Life,” followed by a heart emoji. Take a look:
Sometime back when people tried to target Jahnvi and Khushi, Anshula stood up for her half-sisters and had politely spoken against them. Anshula had taken to her social media and had penned, “Hi, I’m requesting you to refrain from using abusive language especially towards my sisters, I do not appreciate it & have therefore deleted ur comments. While I am grateful for your passion & love for bhai & me, just a small correction - I was never working outside India. Let’s please spread joy & good vibes. And a few days later, she had again slammed the trollers by posting a motivating post, which could be read as, “No matter how chaotic it is, wildflowers still spring up in the middle of nowhere.” She had captioned it as, “Strong willed, they dare to blossom & hold their own, spreading their beauty wherever the wind takes them. Wildflowers dare greatly.”
In an interview with Vogue, Dhadak fame Janhvi Kapoor had talked about how her entire family came together after Sridevi’s demise. Janhvi had shared, “It’s made us feel safe and secure. I think, even for Papa, it’s a source of comfort. It’s definitely tied us together. We’ve lost mom and I don’t think that’s a loss any of us will ever get over.” She further went to say that her mother was a constant inspiration for her, “That’s always been my motivation. During her promotions for the debut film, Dhadak, at one of the events, she had talked about Anshula and Arjun, and what they mean to her. The rising star was quoted as saying, “The only reason we can stand strong after whatever happened is because of the kind of love and support Arjun bhaiyya and Anshula didi [half-siblings] have been giving us [she and her younger sister, Khushi]. It’s a family dynamic that I relish. I am very thankful for them. I couldn’t have asked for a better brother and a better sister. They have given us a lot of strength. He is a very wise man and has given tips like, ‘just be honest, be yourself and be respectful towards people.’ Somehow, when he says it, I take it like the gospel truth.”
Sometime back, a blogger had appreciated Arjun and Anshula's support towards Janhvi and Khush. To the same, Arjun had replied by writing, “Hey @aakanksha3131, me & @anshulakapoor represent our mother every single second we live. She would expect us to have been standing next to our father no matter what we will be there for Janhvi & Khushi. Thank you for your kind words about our mother, as she would say God bless you."
