Isha Koppikar is a well-known actress, who has shown her acting skills in Hindi, South Indian, and Marathi films. She has appeared in some of the most popular films, including Don, 36 China Town, and Krishna Cottage. After a hiatus from films, Isha decided to enter politics in 2019. Of late, Isha is in the news as she and her restaurateur-husband, Timmy Narang, who have been married for almost 14 years, have officially parted ways with each other.
Earlier, reports were rife that Isha and Timmy parted ways due to compatibility issues, which cropped up a few months ago. Though the duo tried every bit to save their marriage, they couldn’t succeed. Now, in a recent interview with the ETimes, Timmy confirmed the same and opened up about their divorce for the first time. He shared that he and Isha had been contemplating divorce for a year and a half before taking the final call to file it.

Timmy also revealed that Isha has moved out of their residence with their 9-year-old daughter, Rianna, and shared that the divorce was granted in November 2023. He further added that he and Isha parted ways on an amicable note and are now free to move on with their lives. In his words:
“The divorce was granted in November last year, and it was on amicable terms. Both of us are now free to move on with our lives, which is a fact. So, I don’t see why there should be any confusion regarding that. While I haven’t read the latest report, considering the legal option isn’t even an option because the divorce has already come through, it’s as simple as that.”
Shortly after the reports about their divorce, news headlines flashed about Isha Koppikar and Timmy Narang’s divorce. However, when the actress was reached out for confirmation on the same, the diva politely reacted as to how it was too early to respond on the same and prioritised her need for privacy. She further asked everyone to be sensitive towards them regarding such a delicate matter.

For those who don’t know, Isha Koppikar met Timmy Narang for the first time, through her best friend and actress, Preity Zinta. The latter introduced the duo to one another, after which they instantly connected. While it started as a casual friendship, and the duo barely exchanged their numbers, it slowly blossomed into deep friendship, and ultimately love. For the unversed, Isha and Timmy got married on November 29, 2009.
