Recently, the couple gave a tour of their artistic Mumbai apartment to their millions of fans while shooting for a magazine, Architectural Digest India. Undoubtedly, the home is filled with collective items, and uniquely decorated walls to whatnot. So, without much ado, let's delve into the home's virtual tour.
Aparshakti and Aakriti's plush Mumbai home is designed by the celebrity interior designer, Rupin Suchak who is famous for his production designing projects in films like Ki And Ka, Dear Zindagi, Padman, Happy Ending and many more. The beautiful living room is based on the madly-in-love couple's wish to have a cosy vibe along with the collaboration of plants, leather and everything which is classy. Revealing the same during the conversation with the magazine, their designer, Rupin said:
“Taking inspiration from the traditional gentlemen’s clubs of London, we decided to feature a rich, masculine palette. I picked up many artefacts from Chor Bazar and blended together many things to conjure up a ‘beautiful mess’. It was, in a way, an exercise in channelling our inner ‘filminess’ into the interior design.”
The living place consists of a big blue-coloured huge chandelier which was curated by Akriti long before they even registered their house. Moreover, the area is filled with greenery, a pop of colours in the cushions, sofa sets, lamps and many more. Altogether, it looks simply like a place which can also serve for beautiful get-togethers.
The loving couple's beautiful home also features a wooden dining space which has a distressed paint and brick effect on the walls. Additionally, the entire area consists of small artistic things like a kaleidoscope of prints, a framed poem by Rudyard Kipling, cutesy family photographs from the duo's childhood and many other unique artefacts collected by them from Chor Bazar.
Aparshakti also gave a sneak peek into his very personal space where he dresses up. Along with a proper vanity area, he also showed a massive collection of shoes which is worth dying for. Talking about the same, he said this place is his favourite one in the home and elaborated:
“Let me show you my favourite space. I really did not know I had so many shoes. I had no idea at all. Thank God Rupin paaji (Rupin Suchak) did this. Now, I really need to stop shopping. The secret to a happy married life is having your own spaces to get ready.”
At the end of the video, Aparkshakti and Akriti showed the cutest part of their home, which is none other than their baby girl's pink space. It consists of pink walls, matching cupboards and furry toys. Then, talking about naming their house 'Arziyaan' based on their daughter's name, the actor concluded:
“She came into our lives and within one month we had this house.”
