From making a heart-shaped parantha to going down on his one knee to propose his ladylove, Asim could be seen wearing his heart on his sleeves for Himanshi. The Punjabi actress had however first refuted his love, it was after the wrap of the show that the two had started dating and had made their relationship official. Their fans fondly call them ‘Asimanshi’ and their social media PDAs go viral in no time. While the couple tries to keep their relationship away from the limelight, their cryptic posts often lead to speculations of their breakup. Now, amidst the rumours of trouble in their relationship, Himanshi has opened up on her marriage plans with Asim.
While Asim Riaz is 27 years old, Himanshi Khurana is 29 years old and other than their breakup rumours, it is their marriage speculations that often hit the headlines. In a conversation with the Hindustan Times, Himanshi clarified that the decision of getting married cannot be taken in haste as their religion and communities are different. She said, “Pehle logon ko hamare relationship pe shaq tha, ab yeh sab bol rahe hain. We’re in no hurry. We’re right now concentrating on our work and being there for each other. Hamari communities aur religion alag hain. Our families are happy for us, but a relationship needs time.”
When asked what makes Asim a special one in her life, Himanshi shared that Asim is a caring person and he takes care of not only his family but also of her family, who stays in Chandigarh. She shared, “He has struggled hard to be where he is today. He takes time to open up and doesn’t talk much. Toh logon ko lagta hai unme attitude hai. In reality, Asim is caring, loving and supportive. If he’s ordering food for himself, he also orders food for his family in Jammu and my family in Chandigarh.”
Himanshi Khurana has always praised her beau, Asim Riaz. In a conversation with ETimes TV, Himanshi Khurana had shared that any girl would be lucky to have a boyfriend like Asim Riaz. Revealing how she is an exact opposite of Asim as she doesn't like to share her feelings in public because of superstition, she had said, "He is very expressive and any girl would love to have a partner or boyfriend like him. I don't express that much so I get judged a lot. I am a little superstitious when it comes to romance, I feel nazar lag jaati hai. He is a very nice person." On the occasion of Karwa Chauth, Himanshi had also kept fast for her beau, Asim Riaz. She had posted two beautiful pictures on her IG handle of her Karwa Chauth look. Wearing a brown-toned anarkali suit with golden work over it, Himanshi had opted for a red cut-work dupatta to complete her look. Red bangles and red lipstick had made her look like a bride. While Himanshi had shared the pictures, Asim was completely bowled by her look. On one of her pictures, Asim had commented, "You look stunning Himanshi".
