Bigg Boss 13's contestants, Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana's relationship, has always received a bittersweet response from the public. While some applaud their adorable chemistry, some troll Himanshi for being with Asim only for the sake of fame and money. Often the couple is trolled brutally on social media. Now, Himanshi Khurana has opened up on the trolling she faces for her relationship with her boyfriend, Asim Riaz.

In a candid conversation with the ETimes, Himanshi Khurana talked at length about her personal life and her relationship. Talking about how her close ones didn't want her to do Bigg Boss, Himanshi said, "People in my life and me nobody was prepared for these controversies and they had become extra protective about me. They did not want me to enter Bigg Boss or do the show. But it was my decision to do the show. I wanted to know myself and if you see the show, I was always in my control. I did not involve myself in any fights. I did not take out any old fights. It was a challenge for me. If people feel that I was a coward and did not dig out past controversies, I would like to clear that the fight was with myself. I wanted to handle everything on my own and gracefully."
Expressing her thoughts on online trolling, Himanshi Khurana said, "I have never taken trolling seriously. But after Bigg Boss, there were so many comments about my personal life being made. There were so many things said about Asim and me. People don’t know the reality of our relationship. They don’t know how supportive we are towards each other." The actress also opened up on her previous relationship and said, "They don’t know what was the actual reason behind my last breakup. In case of a breakup, it is always the girl who gets blamed. Don’t I have the right to choose my life? Troll feels I am with Asim for money and fame. Didn’t I have money or fame before I met Asim?"

Himanshi also explained the dynamics of her relationship with Asim and said, "If Asim and I are in a relationship, he is not working for me. He doesn’t go on my shoots or I don’t for his work. He has a back pain, he knows his struggle. I am dealing with PCOS and that pain I can only understand and deal with. The best we can do is support each other. People have a lot of opinions about us. I get shocked when people make comments about Asim and my relationship and in fact pass judgements also. I mean how can they do it? If I am negative or a bad person, Asim is with me, won’t he get to know about it. If he so confidently accepted our relationship on national television that means he must have seen something in me."
HImnshi further added that she and Asim don't pay much heed to the trolls and said, "Asim and I are very strong headed individuals. He stays away from social media and he doesn’t even care who’s saying what. He has a fixed schedule of gymming and workout so he doesn’t give attention to all these things. If we are planning a holiday or if he’s going somewhere he will first search for a gym. (Laughs). We both are busy with our lives because I am in Punjab and he’s in Mumbai. So won’t pay attention."
