Kangana Ranaut has stepped into the world of politics and is contesting elections as a candidate of the BJP. Amidst it, Kangana has been sharing her bebak opinion on social media and calling out people for mocking her art. Taking to her Instagram handle, Kangana posted a video of veteran actor and BJP leader Hema Malini. She re-shared Hema Malini's stage performance when she was just twenty years old and heaped praises on her.
On April 12, 2024, Kangana took to her Instagram handle and reposted an old video of Hema Malini on her IG stories. In the clip, we can see the then-twenty-year-old Hema Malini performing Bharatnatyam on stage. She was decked up in a traditional ensemble for the classical dance form. Kohl-filled eyes with heavy makeup and hair tied in a bun completed her look.

Along with the video, Kangana gave a befitting reply to people who mock their arts, and make fun of dance. Citing Hema Malini's example, Kangana heaped praises for her, and wrote:
"20-year-old Hema ji performing on stage. Even now, Hema ji can give 3-4 hours long performance on stage. Jo log nritya, sangeet aur kala ka mazak banate hain, woh neech aur choti soch rakhte hain. Devlok mein Arjun ne bhi nritya, sangeet aur kala mein shiksha li thi. Lord Shiv ne yog ki saath yeh kalayein manushya ko di hai. Tabhi toh woh Natraj kehlate hain."

Recently, Kangana Ranaut made her first appearance after entering politics as a member of the BJP. She attended a Times Now event, and a clip from the interview has been going viral. In the video, Kangana Kangana mentioned freedom fighter, Subhash Chandra Bose as the first Prime Minister of India. In her statement, she asked where he disappeared. She was quoted as saying:
"Pehle mujhe yeh baat aaj clear karne dijiye. Jab hume azadi mili toh the first Prime Minister of India, Subhash Chandra Bose, woh kahan gae?"
However, the interviewer immediately corrected her, and said, "Prime Minister nahi the." Kangana immediately covered up her story counter questioned her, "Nahi the kyo. Kaha chale gaye, kyo gayab kar diya. He just disappeared from the face of the earth."
As soon as the video was uploaded netizens flooded the comments section. One user wrote, "I demand that INDIA alliance should give ticket to Hritik Roshan. Pagli ro degi." Another commented, "How was Subhash Chandra Bose the first PM if we got independence just 10 years ago, according to her ? Shouldn't the first PM be NaMo ? ... She's inconsistent even with her own argument." One of the netizens also wrote, "The funny thing is she was probably given a script. But she probably just decided to go off script to share this." Some even compared her to Alia Bhatt and called it a 'classic Alia moment'.
