The year 2020 has brought a lot of happiness in the popular cricketer, Hardik Pandya's life. He had not only found his 'missus', Natasa Stankovic, but he had also embraced the journey of fatherhood with the arrival of his little munchkin, Agastya. But, the doting daddy couldn't spend much time with his now 4-months-old son as he had jetted off to Dubai for IPL 2020 shortly after his birth. And now, as the cricketer is in Australia for the ongoing ODI and Test series between India and Australia, he is missing his son, Agastya dearly, as it has been almost four months since he has seen him. Scroll down to know what Hardik has to say about apparent changes in his life after becoming a father!
We stumbled upon a video posted on the official IG page of International Cricket Council, wherein, Hardik Pandya can be seen having a heart-to-heart conversation with the commentator about his family. In the video, Hardik can be heard saying, "Feeling thoda different hai. Automatically hojate hai sir kyuki jab baccha hota hai toh automatically thode aur kaam hote hai. (The feeling is a bit different. It happens automatically because when you have a baby, your work increases)." He added, "You start thinking about life in a different way. I think my perspective towards my family has changed. As a person, I have changed and I think the change has come for better."
Hardik further got emotional as he talked about missing his son, Agastya and said, "Miss kar raha hoon and abhi jaana ka wait. 15 din ka tha jab usko chod ke aaya tha aur abhi chaar mahine ka hojayega jab wapas jaunga toh. A lot of things have changed but all for our good." (Also Read: Arpita Khan Flaunts Her Hot Hubby, Aayush Sharma's 'Bare Back' Thanks Him For Always Having Her Back)
Earlier, we had spotted another such video on the IG page of Mumbai Indians, the team which Hardik represents in the IPL. In the video, talking about how difficult it was for him to leave for UAE for IPL 2020, leaving behind his wife, and newborn, Hardik had said, "It's been just a fantastic time for me to even spend 15 days with my child and Natasa before I left for UAE. And it was the toughest thing, and that's why I think I told Natasa as well that if it's going to pain this much, I will make it worth it."
Hardik Pandya had also talked about how his family tops his priority list now, and how his life has changed. In his words, "Lot's of things have changed from my back surgery to getting my life partner to having my child. I can't express the feeling, but I can tell you one thing, and this has taught me a lot of things in my life. I've realised lots of things in my life I think I'm in a much better space, now that I am a father. It has given immense pleasure, but at the same point of time, I think I have realised that the love for my family has increased a lot. Yes, I have always loved my family, but now, the importance of my life is my family. I think because of that I have changed as a person. It has given me motivation as well, and now everything is going to be for Agatya and for my family. And I think I come in that list last now."
Hardik had then revealed that he had never been this emotional before leaving for a tournament as he was this time around. He had said, "When I was leaving it was one of the most difficult things for me I have never felt his emotional before any series or any tournament. But in the end, I had to tell myself and my partner that don't worry, this will be worth it."
