This shaadi season had kickstarted with the gorgeous couple, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa Paul's wedding. And they had looked stunning in Sabyasachi's wedding couture. While Patralekhaa had worn a red-coloured embroidered saree, Rajkummar had donned an ivory-coloured sherwani. The couple had recently had shared their wedding video on their respective IG profiles that had garnered a lot of love!
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa Paul have been dating each other for 11 years, and on November 15, 2021, they had tied the nuptial knot in Chandigarh. They had a gala destination wedding ceremony but had an intimate event in front of their close-knit family and friends. Among a few known faces like Farah Khan and others, director Hansal Mehta too had attended the wedding!

Filmmaker, Hansal Mehta had shared a few unseen throwback pictures from Rajkummar and Patralekhaa's wedding on his IG handle. Sharing the photos, the director saab mentioned the beautiful bond that he shares with Rajkummar in the caption. His caption can be read as:
“They say that the birth of a child often changes one’s fortunes for the better. His entry into my office one hot afternoon changed my life. My son, my friend, my brother, my muse @rajkummar_rao."
Further, Hansal Mehta added in the caption that it was one of the most joyous weddings that he had ever attended. Stating that he wrote:
"I would imagine that to be married to my darling @patralekhaa is just what blessings from the almighty would be like. Two beautiful souls, one beautiful bond and many blessings for all the best things that life has to offer. This was truly the most joyous wedding ever, the wedding of a lifetime! #rajpatra."

In the first picture, the director posed with the newlywed couple, Rajkummar and Patralekhaa, in their wedding couture. While, in the other picture, they can be seen enjoying themselves in a pool, where Rajkummar is hugging Patralekhaa and Hansal Mehta. As soon as the director shared the pictures, the newlywed bride, Patralekhaa, commented on the post, "Love you sir". While Rajkummar Rao commented on the post with a heart emoji and a sweet note for Hansal Mehta:
"Thank you so much my dearest Hansal sir. A father’s love for his son /daughter is unconditional and pure and our relationship is a prime example of that. I love you sir."

On November 15, 2021, Rajkummar Rao had shared a few pictures from his wedding with the love of his life, Patralekhaa. Sharing the pictures, he had written:
“Finally after 11 years of love, romance, friendship and fun, I got married to my everything today, my soulmate, my best friend, my family. Today there is no greater happiness for me than being called your husband @patralekhaa Here’s to forever .. and beyond.”
On the professional front, Rajkummar Rao was last seen in the film, Hum Do Humare Do.
