Australian cricketer, Glenn Maxwell and his Indian wife, Vini Raman, are soon going to join the parents club. The duo tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on March 27, 2022, as per Hindu and Christian rituals. In May 2023, Vini and Gelnn, who liked to keep their personal life private, announced their first pregnancy. Recently, Vini Raman shared glimpses of her traditional Tamil baby shower ceremony, and it is beautiful.
On July 24, 2023, Vini Raman took to her Instagram handle and posted some pictures from her traditional Tamily baby shower ceremony, Valaikaappu. For those who don't know, Valaikaappu is a baby shower ceremony held by South Indian women in Tamil Nadu, wherein they bless the pregnant woman.

In the first picture, Vini shared a glimpse of her bangles, which she wore for her bangle ceremony. In another picture, she looked stunning in a turquoise blue-toned silk saree, which she wore with a peach silk blouse. Subtle makeup and her hair half tied completed her look. We also spotted Vini posing with her hubby, Glenn, who looked adorable.

On May 11, 2023, Glenn and Vini took to their IG handle and shared a collaborative post. In the picture, we can see Vini's sonography framed photo, a cutesy white t-shirt and bib pants. Alongside it, Vini penned how difficult their journey has been. She also revealed that her rainbow baby is due in September 2023. Her note can be read as:
"Glenn & I are ecstatic to announce our rainbow baby is due September 2023. It’s so important for us to acknowledge this journey has not been the smoothest or easiest. I know first hand how painful it can be to see posts like these wondering if and when your time will be. We send our love and strength to other couples who are struggling with fertility or loss."
Further in the post, Vini revealed that she had gone through a miscarriage. While sharing the meaning of rainbow baby, Vini had written:
"Overwhelmed by all the love. For those that aren’t aware a rainbow baby is a baby born after miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, termination for medical reasons, stillbirth or neonatal death. It symbolises the rainbow that happens after a storm."
