Matthew Perry, infamously known as ‘Chandler Bing’ from the hit American sitcom, Friends left a deep void in the hearts of many, when the news of his death surfaced. It was back on October 28, 2023, when the actor was found dead in the jacuzzi of his home, at the age of 54. And now, days after the tragedy, one of his co-stars penned a heartfelt tribute for him.
Taking to his IG handle on November 14, 2023, Matt LeBlanc, a.k.a ‘Joey Tribbiani’ from the 1990s sitcom, Friends dropped some heartwarming throwback pictures with Matthew Perry, from the shooting of their show together. The pictures immediately took everyone down a nostalgic trip of memories, when the duo enjoyed some unmissable banter. Along with the pictures, Matt penned a note that read as:
“Matthew. It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye. The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I’ll never forget you. Never. Spread your wings and fly brother you’re finally free. Much love. And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me.”

Ever since the sudden demise of Matthew Perry, his entire fanbase globally, has been deeply mourning the loss of the brilliant actor. However, surprisingly, it was his surviving family who kept their silence for a long. But finally, on October 30, 2023, his family issued a formal yet short statement on the actor’s demise. The statement can be read as:
“We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother. Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend. You all meant so much to him, and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love."

Incidentally, hours before his death, Matthew Perry had dropped one last glimpse of himself on his social media handle, as he enjoyed a warm bath in the jacuzzi, over looking a beautiful view. However, it is very tragic to note that it was the very same jacuzzi inside which he was later found dead. Along with his last picture, Matthew had penned a note that read as:
“Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I'm Mattman."
