The extremely popular reality show, Bigg Boss, never misses a chance to entertain its viewers. In addition, with every season, we get to see new romances between the contestants. Similarly, the show's season 14 contestants, Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia were seen having a 'love-hate' relationship inside the Bigg Boss 14 house. Soon, their hate gradually changed to love, and after being with each other for quite some time, they got engaged. However, reports suggest that the duo has thought of calling it quits after three years of going strong.
As per a report in the Times Now, Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia were having troubles in their relationship. Thus, after almost dating each other for three long years and despite getting engaged, rumours suggest that they are headed for a breakup. The news came just after another Bigg Boss couple, Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana broke up due to religious differences after being together for 4 years. Although there is now confirmation about Eijaz and Pavitra's breakup rumours, their decreased social media posts for one another are adding fuel to the ongoing reports. Well, this is quite saddening for Pavitra and Eijaz's fans, who were desperately waiting for the couple's marriage.

In an old interview with News18 Showsha, Eijaz Khan opened up about his marriage plans with Pavitra Punia. He had also revealed how his life has changed after Bigg Boss. Talking about the same, the actor shared that he gets very good food at home and lives in a very comfortable and beautiful house. Afterwards, spilling the beans about the duo's marriage, he shared that they were not getting enough time to get hitched. Adding that he and Pavitra would soon figure it out, the actor had said:
"Of course, it is on the card. Arre time kahan hai? Uske liye pure khandan ko pure duniya se ikkatha karna, usne time lena, humare liye time lena. I want it to be if not such a grand affair but I want it to be a celebration. She says what’s the point we never gonna get time, let’s just get it done. But I feel I want my family and close friends to be there. So we will find a medium. We will figure it out very soon."
Further in the interview, Eijaz was asked about the beautiful moment when he came to know that Pavitra was the one for him. To this, the actor revealed that according to him, everyone comes with their pros and cons in life. However, he also added that one must work on their relationship and marriage daily. In his words:
"What I realised everyone is gonna come with baggage. Everyone is gonna come with pros and cons. Whatever I have seen in my life nobody is perfect and nobody is like a jigsaw that’s gonna fit into each other. A relationship in marriage is ongoing work in progress. Every day you have to work on it, every day you have to understand each other, every day you have to learn, every day you have to grow. Mera bahot straight forward hai mujhe yeh mil raha, mujhe yeh nai mil raha hai. I am okay with it."

It was on October 5, 2022, when Pavitra and Eijaz announced their engagement with a collaborative post on Instagram. They shared a series of mushy pictures from their dreamy proposal, inside a dark room. The actor was seen proposing to his ladylove, Pavitra, who was completely shocked by the same. At the end of the picture series, Pavitra was also seen flaunting her huge engagement ring, and her happiness due to the same was visible on her face. Sharing the photos, Eijaz penned a beautiful note to reveal that Pavitra said 'Yes' to his proposal. His note could be read as:
“Baby, if we keep waiting for the right time, it’s never gonna be, I promise you my best, Will you marry me? She said, ‘yes.' #taken #official 03/10/2022."
