New mommy, Dipika Kakar, and her hubby, Shoaib Ibrahim are enjoying every bit of parenthood journey with their little prince, Ruhaan. For the unversed, Dipika gave birth to her first child on June 21, 2023. The actress had an emergency C-section delivery, and their baby boy was in NICU for a few weeks. However, Dipika and Sohaib had taken their baby boy home on July 10, 2023. And since then, they have been sharing anecdotes about their parenting journey. And yet the same happened again when Dipika took to her YouTube channel, Dipika Ki Dunia, and talked about her food habits, the pain caused by C-section, and more.

Dipika shares why she had to delete her previous vlog where she revealed Ruhnaan's name

At the beginning of the video, Dipika Kakar revealed why she had to delete her previous vlog. Talking about the same, the new mom shared that she mistakenly revealed Ruhaan's name before the name-reveal ritual that they had planned, and thus she had to delete her vlog.

Dipika Kakar on her postpartum journey

Further in the vlog, the new mommy, Dipika Kakar talked about her postpartum journey. She provided her fans with her health update and revealed that the journey has been endearing from conceiving to postpartum. She mentioned that she needs to be more careful now as the healing process is happening in her body. Dipika mentioned she has to be extremely careful about her food habits right now as she is also feeding the baby.

Talking about her diet, the actress stated that she has been having dry fruit mix along with milk for strength. Dipika mentioned that her ammi suggested she eat daliya, so she follows everything her family suggests. Dipika mentioned that she is caring for herself so that the baby stays healthy.

In the same vlog, Dipika Kakar also talked about her C-section pain. The actress mentioned that the pain is negligible, and there's slight sensitivity on the stomach's skin and around the uterus. Dipika also mentioned that she started wearing a maternity support belt post 7-8 days after her delivery. Talking about the importance of the same, Dipika shared that it is very important to hold the stomach because if it hangs down, it is difficult to come back into form.

Talking about her health routine, Dipika mentioned that she has started walking for 30 minutes and will soon start walking on the treadmill. The new mommy revealed that the doctor had told her to have ajwain water as it prevents gastric issues for her and Ruhaan as well.

Dipika Kakar on how she is pacing up with Ruhaan's sleep schedule

In the same vlog, Dipika Kakar talked about how she is coping with the sleeping schedule of Ruhaan. She mentioned that she and Shoaib are still getting set with the routine, as it's been only a week. Dipika mentioned that she is still pacing up with Ruhaan. Talking about how she is catching up with sleep, Dipika shared she gets up with her son every three hours and feeds him and then covers him up.
