Edward Christopher Sheeran, a.k.a, Ed Sheeran is one of the most talented British singers, who never skips a chance to win the hearts of his fans with his oh-so-'Perfect' songs. However, the singer recently landed in Mumbai for his concert, and as expected, he set the stage ablaze with his electrifying performance. However, the unexpected crossover between Sheeran and Diljit Dosanjh just blew our minds off. While both singers have already sent their fans into a frenzy, Diljit recently talked about his experience of performing with Ed Sheeran.

In a recent interview with the IANS, Diljit Dosanjh talked about his experience of sharing stage with Ed Sheeran and singing the song, Lover together. It's worth mentioning that Ed Sheeran, for the first time, sang any Punjabi song, and oh boy, he nailed it and how. Moreover, talking about his experience of singing on stage with Ed, Diljit praised the former and stated that the singer knows how to work a crowd. He also mentioned that it was extremely wonderful, full of joy, and an honour sharing the stage with Ed. Diljit remarked that those who consider language to be a barrier should know that music is a language of its own. Diljit remarked:

“It was wonderful performing with Ed Sheeran last evening. He truly knows how to work a crowd. He is such a giving artiste and sharing the stage with him was a real joy and an absolute honour. Whoever said language is a barrier needs to know that music is a language of its own.”

Diljit Dosanjh and Ed Sheeran's joint performance sent the fans into a collective meltdown 

It was on March 17, 2024, when Diljit Dosanjh and Ed Sheeran left everyone melted over their joint performance. In a video that went viral online, we could see Ed looking dapper in a crisp black shirt with the word 'Mumbai' on it, which surely spoke volumes about his love for India. On the other hand, Diljit Dosanjh looked handsome in a black t-shirt, which he wore beneath a skeleton-printed jacket. Moreover, the duo, in the video, could be seen rocking the stage as they sang the song, Lover and left the audience screaming at the top of their lungs.

When Ed Sheeran stated he wanted to feature Shah Rukh Khan in his music video

In an interview with Zoom, Ed Sheeran was asked which actor he would like to feature in his music video. To this, the singer took Shah Rukh's name and stated that the latter is a big star. On being asked if he would like to do a cameo role in Bollywood, Ed enthusiastically said 'yes' and mentioned that he wanted to be involved in the music of the same project, too, if it would happen. Sharing more about the same, Ed remarked how he loved his previous visit to India back in 2005.
