Dia Mirza is one of the most beautiful and talented actresses in the entertainment industry. She became an overnight sensation after the release of her debut film, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, in 2001. Later, she went on to work in popular films like Salam Mumbai, Tumsa Nahin Dekha, Bheed, Sanju, Thappad, Lage Raho Munna Bhai and many more. Currently, Dia is busy with the promotions of her upcoming film, Dhak Dhak. Talking about her personal life, Dia married twice. After getting divorced from her first husband, Sahil Sangha in 2019, she tied the knot to Vaibhav Rekhi and the duo is blessed with a son, Avyaan Azaad Rekhi.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Dia Mirza opened up about her film, Dhak Dhak. Talking about the same, the actress revealed an interesting anecdote from the shooting of the film. Elaborating more about it, Dia shared her unique experience of riding a bike. For the unversed, Dia along with her co-stars, Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanjana Sanghi embarked on an adventurous journey in the Leh region in their film, Dhak Dhak. The gorgeousness shared that she learned bike riding months after giving birth to her son, Avyaan. In her words:

"I had just given birth to my child. He was less than a year old when we were shooting for this film. I can’t tell you at how many levels this film has spoken to me."

When Dia shared priceless glimpses with her family from their day out

Apart from being an amazing actress, Dia is a doting wife to her husband, Vaibhav and a loving mother to their kids, Avyaan and Samaira. And we got a glimpse of the same when she dropped some priceless glimpses with her family on her IG handle. In one of the pictures, Dia could be seen lifting her son in the air. In the next picture, we could see the family of four enjoying the beautiful sunset view near the river banks. However, it was Dia and her stepdaughter's bond in the picture that melted our hearts.

When Dia hosted a jungle-themed birthday bash for her son, Avyaan

Dia Mirza is a nature lover, and a glimpse of the same was witnessed at her son, Avyaan's second birthday. On May 15, 2023, the doting mommy dropped a series of glimpses from her son's birthday bash. And, oh boy, glimpses from Avyaan's dreamy nature-themed birthday party looked surreal. In one picture, Dia's son could be seen cutting a yummy cake featuring caricatures of animals as cake toppings; the following picture featured a candid moment of the actress and her son.

When Dia revealed her son, Avyaan being in NICU after his birth

Dia Mirza and her husband, Vaibhav Rekhi welcomed their son, Avyaan on May 14, 2021. However, the actress revealed her baby's arrival news after two months of his birth on July 14, 2021. Taking to her IG handle, she shared a picture note and revealed that her son was a premature baby as she had an emergency c-section delivery. Adding that he had been in NICU for 2 months, Dia penned:

"To paraphrase Elizabeth Stone, "To have a child is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body." These words perfectly exemplify Vaibhav and my feelings right now. Our heartbeat, our son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi was born on May 14th. Having arrived early, our little miracle has since then been cared for by tireless nurses and doctors in the Neonatal ICU."
