After dating for few years, the duo had parted ways and had broken the hearts of millions of their fans. Deepika and Ranbir have always been vocal about their relationship and break up and are perfect exemplars of letting bygones be bygones. When Deepika and Ranveer had landed in Mumbai after their wedding, Deepika was seen without her famous tattoo, but later it was revealed that it was makeup’s make as her makeup artist had hidden her tattoo with the help of a concealer. Deepika, who is currently busy in promoting her upcoming movie, Chappak, was recently seen in a multi-coloured saree and what caught our attention was her neckline. Her famous ‘RK’ tattoo was not to be seen in the picture and we couldn’t help but wonder whether she has removed it permanently. We all know that Deepika’s RK tattoo has often been a subject of discussion for gossipmongers, media people and chat shows. And on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee with Karan, in 2010, Deepika had admitted that she had no plans of removing her tattoo in future. She was quoted as saying, “It's something that I felt was correct, and even today, I don't regret it. I have never thought about taking it off. I know the media is constantly saying 'she has taken it off', 'she has lasered it', 'she has changed it' and all kinds of things. It's very much there and I have no plans of taking it off.”
In a throwback interview with The Times Of India, when Deepika Padukone was asked if she is still in love with Ranbir Kapoor, she had retorted, “Of course I do. I don’t think that every feeling has to be broken down as I don’t believe that emotions are unidimensional anyway. Feelings and emotions are very layered. He is someone I have always loved and someone I will always be extremely possessive about and very protective about. When I read about him, when I see his work, good bad whatever it is, I have my own monologue that is going on in my head and which I do share with him. I might even pick up the phone and talk to him immediately. There was a phase he was going through where I felt that his behaviour had changed a bit (I didn’t know it was intentional or had he become that person or it was misinterpreted).”
Deepika Padukone had continued, “But it bothered me a lot. We are not in each other’s lives to know whether the change was permanent or it was completely fabricated. But the point is the things about him that were being reported, I felt that I had the right to pick up the phone on him and tell him that what was going on was not correct. Similarly with his film, the minute I see his work, I will tell him. Likewise, he will see my films and tell me what he liked and what he didn’t like. I can pick up the phone on him and say that why did you do Besharam.
