Recently, we stumbled upon a video of Deepika Padukone, wherein the actress was seen talking about her love for no makeup look. Recalling her character of 'Piku' from the film, Piku, the actress shared that it has to be her favourite makeup look so far. In the video, Deepika Padukone was seen dressed in a yellow-hued oversized blazer dress which she paired with a beige-hued bralette. The diva went for a heavy makeup look with an oily base and completed it with a pulled-back wet hairdo.

For the unversed, Deepika Padukone's video was from her interview with Allure magazine. The actress revealed that she loves light or no makeup look and added that she loved her makeup in the film, Piku as it looked quite natural and similar to what she prefers in real life too. She was heard saying:
"I think a character that I've played that is very similar to the way I am in real life is probably Piku, just very natural. You could literally see the skin in the movie. In fact, I'd sit in the makeup chair for not more than 5 or 10 minutes including hair and makeup. And I think that's one of those films where I felt completely like myself."
However, when the video was shared on Reddit, Deepika Padukone was mercilessly trolled for talking about her favourite 'no makeup look' while donning heavy makeup. While the actress said quite insightful things in her interview, netizens pointed out how her full-fledged makeup look in the video contradicted what she was heard saying. The social media users took it as an opportunity to mock Deepika and slammed her for being a hypocrite.

Deepika Padukone is well known for her stunning sartorial picks, as she knows how to carry herself with grace. Reacting to the question, Deepika Padukone instantly quipped how people judge her for whatever she wears. While they call her boring when she wears a white shirt and blue jeans, and if she tries to wear something fun, her fashion sense is compared with her husband, Ranveer Singh. Deepika added that people even think she should not try bold looks and stick to classic stuff. Deepika was quoted as saying:
"I wear a white shirt and blue jeans and everyone’s like so boring, why can’t she try something fun. And then when I try something fun they are like oh now she’s trying to be like her husband. She should just stick to doing the classic stuff that she always does. What do you want?"

On the personal front, Deepika Padukone fell in love with actor, Ranveer Singh, and went on to tie the knot with him. It was back in 2012, during the making of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, when love blossomed between Ranveer and Deepika on the film's sets. After six years of being in a relationship, everyone's favourite celebrity couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had taken their wedding vows on November 14-15, 2018, in Italy.
