Deepika Padukone has been hitting the headlines for some time now, courtesy of her shocking revelations about her casual relationships on Koffee With Karan 8. The actress, who is happily married to Ranveer Singh, has had her own share of link-ups in Tinseltown. Amongst all, it was her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor, which caught the most attention back then. While the duo parted ways some years back, Deepika dropped a picture with Ranbir on social media, leaving the netizens baffled.
On November 9, 2023, Deepika Padukone shared a collage featuring some of her throwback pictures on her IG stories. However, in one of the pictures, we can see her sharing a candid laugh with Ranbir Kapoor. For the unversed, the photo was from one of the duo's scenes in the film, Ye Jawaani Hai Deewani. Moreover, she added the song, Tera Rasta Chhodoon Na, along with the story.

Soon, a netizen shared the screengrab of Deepika's IG story on Reddit, which started a meme fest. For the unversed, Deepika has been on the receiving end of trolls for some time now, and her recent social media activity raised many eyebrows. Sharing the picture, the netizen mentioned how the actress dropped a picture with her ex-boyfriend and even added a meaningful song to it.
Now that Deepika Padukone's IG post has been doing rounds on Reddit, netizens are not happy with the same. They have expressed their anger at how Deepika has been obsessed with Ranbir Kapoor for years, even after being married to Ranveer Singh. Reacting to the post, one user commented, "How many years does it take to move on really? Especially when you have someone else who’s even more loving?" Another one wrote, "She married Ranveer but she never actually moved on….. this is so embarrassing fr."

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were in extreme dating for over a few years, but destiny had different plans, and the two parted ways on a bad note. Soon after their breakup, reports were rife that Ranbir's parents weren't happy with their relationship. However, in a throwback interview with Cosmopolitan, Deepika claimed that it was Ranbir's infidelity that led to their split and also revealed that she had caught him cheating on her red-handed. She was quoted as saying:
“The first time he cheated on me, I thought there was something wrong with the relationship, or me. But when someone makes a habit of it, you know the problem lies with him. I give a lot in relationships, and don't really expect much in return. But, infidelity is the deal breaker. Once it comes in, respect goes away, trust goes away and these are the pillars of a relationship you can't f**k around with it.”
