If you’ve been living under a rock, only then you would be unaware of the most awaited wedding of B-town. Ever since October 21, 2018, when Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced their wedding on social media, we have been sitting at the edge with excitement and love for the couple, filled in our hearts. Finally, Deepika and Ranveer are all set to solemnise their relationship after 6 years of commitment. Deepika and Ranveer will exchange wedding vows and become each other’s forever on November 14-15, 2018 at Villa Del Balbianello at Lake Como in Italy. The to-be bride and groom have jetted off to Italy to kickstart their wedding festivities. Deepika and Ranveer were spotted at the airport early in the morning, both twinning in white as they walked hand-in-hand towards the beginning of their new journey.
While to-be groom, Ranveer looked dapper in a white bandhgala jacket with drop crotch pants, the to-be bride was glowing with happiness and excitement and looked radiant in a white oversized turtleneck top and side slit skirt. Ranveer and Deepika along with his parents, Anju Bhavnani and Jagjit Singh Bhavnani and sister, Ritika Bhavnani left for Italy.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding festivities kickstarted with Naandi puja organised by bride-to-be’s mother in Bengaluru on November 3, 2018. The puja at Deepika’s residence was followed by Ranveer’s haldi ceremony.
On October 21, 2018, Deepika and Ranveer shared a joint official statement on social media, which could be read as, “With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of November 2018. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness. In a 2013 interview when he was diagnosed with dengue and he dropped a hint about his love life saying he's down with Loveria, Ranveer had said, "I am love-struck and down with 'Loveria'. It's good. It's rocking. I love being in love. It's the best feeling in the world. I have never felt like this before." When Deepika was asked to comment on the same, she stated, "No, it’s amazing, the way he is. He is so unique. And I think what I admire about him is that he is so unapologetic about the way he is."
Ranveer and Deepika never shy away from expressing their love and affection for each other. In another interview, Deepika expressed how happy and transparent her life is when she is with Ranveer. Leela shared about her Ram, “He is my best friend (and this is not to be taken lightly). I am emotional, sensitive and vulnerable and I hurt easily. I can be so naked in front of Ranveer and I know he will never hurt me or take me for granted. That is the kind of trust and understanding we have. The reason I love and respect him is that I can bare my soul and still feel comfortable. If this is divine connection - this is what it is!"
Further sharing how she feels when she is with him, Deepika was quoted as saying, “When we're with each other, we don't need anything or anyone else. We're comfortable in each other's presence. Sometimes it's an intelligent conversation, sometimes just silence, sometimes there's a childlike innocence. We keep each other grounded. We are good in that sense.”
Expressing her wish to start a family and how she can’t wait to be a homemaker, Deepika elaborated, “I can't put a year to it. Honestly, I've never been able to do anything that is time bound. I believe relationships have their way of unfolding. As far as my equation with him is concerned, I am sure that will unfold in its own manner. I can't wait to be a homemaker. Because from the time I was a little girl, I've always wanted to be that. I've always wanted to start a family."
